Technician came for AC maintenance. When he looked at furnace to check blower motor, he said the furnace has a cracked heat exchanger. He said the majority of our model that come in after being replaced have a cracked heat exchanger, especially as old as ours is. We wanted a second opinion. Gross Brothers came, did a more thorough inspection of the furnace, used a camera scope and said the heat exchanger is NOT CRACKED and there is no odor upon ignition, as there would be if there was a crack.

All aspects of our experience with Shagovac were top notch. Megan and Sue at the office were polite, cheerful and great with communication. Joel and the install team were courteous, professional and on time They installed a multi zone Carrier mini-split and heat pump system in our century home in under two days. Hugh and his team are what hvac install and service should be modeled from. I cant say enough about how well the process worked with this business. Thank you

Shagovac does awsome work. They installed Mini-split, removed a small RTU without a crane, and moved electrical and gas line to main roof top unit. Supervisor accessed the job to prevent any inconvenience from cutting power. Great crew to work with. Thanks for everything!

I’m so late with this review, but we had a fantastic experience with Shagovac Heating and cooling. They serviced our furnace several times but it was getting old and on its last legs. When the furnace finally gave out, we called Shagovac. They assessed the situation and within two days delivered and installed a new furnace and air conditioner. We had forgotten to ask about an Aprilaire so the installer contacted Hugh, the owner, and Hugh promptly delivered the unit himself. Everything has been working beautifully. We also purchased a maintenance contract and they call us promptly every 6 months to arrange an inspection. Service and personnel are exemplary. We highly recommend Shagovac. Kudos to a company who is service oriented, courteous, and highly skilled .

Shagovac provided same day, almost same hour service to replace a capacitor for me, and got my AC back up and running during one of the hottest times of the year in Cleveland. Ian, who repaired my system, was responsive, professional and answered all my questions. I will be switching my maint agreements to Shagovac due to my positive experience, and would recommend them to anyone needing emergent repairs.

A/C stopped working overnight earlier this week. Called Shagovac next morning. Receptionist was very pleasant, scheduled service for same day. Ian arrived 1:30, quickly diagnosed problem, installed new fan motor, checked remainder of system, including coolant level. Completed work in about an hour and restored 20+ year old system to like new.
