I highly recommend them. did a great job 8 years go on my chandlier and ceiling fans. 8 years later came back to check chandelier and it was fine just needed slight adjustment. the problem was cosmetic not from thier work . no charge. I’m impressed and grateful.

Lost electric in part of my house. After trying to diagnose it myself I came to the conclusion it was going to be easier to have somebody come in that knew what they were doing. Called Towles. Originally I was going to wait a week but they did squeeze me in a couple days later. They spent 3.5 hours trying to diagnose the problem but could not find the breaker that the circuit was on. They had a fancy tester hooked to a switch in the kitchen. They gave up at this point and said they would need to return and run a new wire. Rough estimate would we $700-800 probably. They then brought me the bill for the diagnosing. $729. Felt it was high but paid it. The next day after talking to a couple people I came up with my own plan to find the breaker. Also everyone agreed this seemed like a lot when they didn’t find anything. Came home and used an extension cord and a multimeter and within a hour I had found the breaker and found that I had a broken wire somewhere. At this point I believed it would be easier and faster to run a new wire than to search for this broken connection. I called them and let them know how frustrated I was about the bill and the fact I found the problem so fast. And I came to the conclusion their tester was faulty or they didn’t know how to use it(I was testing on the same switch they were.) In the meantime I ran my new wire and fixed my problem. I was contacted by Mark and he said he wasn’t sure what happened but he would see what he could do on the bill. Never heard anything till I called a week later and they said they were sending me a $129 check for a refund. To me this seems low. I’m grateful for anything but still believe they could’ve done more. Everyone was professional and nice. But I still feel that the price I paid was higher then it should’ve or could’ve been. Heck even a small note of apology in with the check would’ve been appreciated. Chalk it up to lesson learned. And I want to clarify that I do not believe or wanted to be refunded for the total. They came out and worked and I believe I owed them something for that.
