Our AC unit was 15 years old, struggling to cool the condo, and the utility bill was way too much for a small residence. Josh Barrett came in and replaced both the compressor unit and air handler system in one day. He explained the technical details of why the older unit was about to fail completely and gave us peace of mind that our worries of sweltering in the summer months were now over. Josh has integrity and is a true professional at his craft. Don’t bother going with anyone else — he’s the man. Hardworking, efficient, honest, and does superior work at a fair price. Highly recommend!!

Josh answered at 8am and showed up at 9am. Very professional and honest person. He charged what I though was a very low price for the work performed. Just a great, honest business/person. Will use again if needed and highly recommend

This company is second to none! Mr. Barrett was meticulous in repairing and replacing damage from another installer. The price was more than reasonable and the work was excellent! The AC unit looks better than when it was placed by the original builders! I highly recommend Barretts!

AFTER HAVING A SO CALLED FREE INSPECTION AND TUNE UP FROM ANOTHER COMPANY AND THE ATTEMPT TO BE COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF BY THEM, JOSH WAS REFERRED TO ME. NOT ONLY DID HE GIVE ME A SECOND OPINION BUT DID SOME REPAIRS A FRACTION OF THE COST FROM THE OTHER COMPANY. IF YOU WANT YOUR REPAIR EXPLAINED HONESTLY AND THE REPAIR DONE AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE, I HIGHLY URGE TOY TO USE BARRETT A/C IN DESTIN. YOU WON’T SORRY AND I GUARANTEE YOU TO SAVE MONEY. Josh’s priority is doing a good job for his customers and ensuring they are well taken care of in terms of service, price, and outcomes. He came to my place on short notice and after hours, happily, and did a great job for me. I won’t be going to anyone else.

We had our unit quit on a Friday after hours. The tech was there that evening, was able to fix the problem in 10 minutes and the pricing was fair. He saved this 7 month prego from having a literal meltdown the in the middle of July. I will use them again if I ever need to. Thank you!!!

Josh and his team are nothing short of professionals. He responded immediately to my broken unit, replacing it same day. He spent tireless hours creating a custom mounting bracket to fit into the tight closet used to house the unit. He even came back the next day to double check the install and register everything for the 10 year warranty. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone needy quick and excellent service. His prices are fair and th work is extraordinary. I will be using him for all my HVAC issues in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
