Had an AC unit outside that was really loud. Mitch Muffler came by, checked several things to diagnose the problem, and got it fixed within 30 minutes. He was fast, professional, and very knowledgeable.

Very happy and impressed with this company. I bought a house in November. My AC unit stopped working when I started using it in May and they came out to fix it (burnt out motor & low on freon). It stopped working again about a week during the heat wave (perfect timing) and they came back out (this time it was the run capacitor). Everyone I’ve talked to one the phone has been incredibly friendly, helpful, and compassionate. Their technicians are professional, fast, and polite. My home warranty company chose Total Comfort but I will continue to use them after my warranty is up. Being a first time home owner, it’s important to have people you can trust working on your home. It doesn’t hurt that they’re dog people too!

I scheduled a routine A/C tune up and it was just that! Routine! No extra charges or hidden fees came up and I was very happy with the customer service provided. Mitch was very professional and even kind to my pups. I would trust with future business.

Put in a request for an AC tune up service. Didn’t hear from total comfort for weeks. I had to call them. I finally got ahold of them and got an appointment but they rescheduled me several times. Then when my appointment date finally came, I was scheduled 3pm-5pm. No one came so I called them at 530pm. They didn’t have any answers for me so they had the technician call me. He told me he was under the impression they had called me and let me know it was to cold to do the turn up even though they said temp had to be 65 degrees and it was 67 degrees outside. I never received a text, call, or email with this information. I understand Iowa weather is unpredictable but their communication with customers is TERRIBLE! Never got a tune up from them. They tried pushing me out further and further for an appointment. So I went with a new company.

Wanted to say thank you to the team at total for getting the furnace up and running again. Brandon did a great job sorting out what was wrong and what was parts were needed to get the heat flowing again.

We called our warranty service late last night, due to issues we were made aware of, pertaining to our water heater. A gentleman by the name of Mitch came out the next day! He fixed the issues, including one that had to do with the exhaust ductwork for the CO2 that wasn’t screwed in correctly. As a matter of fact he barely touched the water heater when that tubing fell out. In other words had it fallen out, it would have been very dangerous for us with reference to CO2. Thank goodness we have a CO2 detector at least. Anyway, he was a very knowledgeable man. He took pictures to to show and explain to me, what all was happening as I am homebound and not able to go down the stairs. Very grateful for his assistance.

Worked with them through my warranty company when my furnace stopped working correctly and Brandon A. was top notch!!! Within 24 hours (during negative teps) they came out figured out the issue and got it fixed!! Very nice, cleaned up after and was super nice to my kitty!

Had a really bad experience with the Plumbers at Total Comfort. I called them to fix a toilet that was constantly running, took them two trips to “fix” that. Then I noticed after they left when I flushed the toilet it was leaking…Yes Leaking, onto the floor. They came back to “fix” that. My toilet was still leaking and caused water damage. They refused to come fix that free of charge. So ultimately, they created a worse problem when they came and wouldn’t fix the problem they created. I would use a different company.

Chris and Tim saved my bacon during a Blizzard, drove out and repaired my furnace quickly. Very professional and reasonably priced service. Highly recommend these guys!
