I had an electrical problem and contacted this company because it was local. Paid $199 at the time to have someone come out and was told that any work moving forward, I would get a 10% discount. When electrician came out the next day, he let me know there was a $175 diagnostic fee. When I let him know I had already paid $199 when the appointment was made, he said that was for a 1 year membership fee which could be used towards future electrical, plumbing, HVAC or drywall work. This additional fee was never mentioned in my initial call. The electrician was on time, professional & knowledgeable. My concern is that the “membership fee” was not disclosed during the initial call. The problem ended up being a ComEd issue so no repair was needed other than inspecting the panel. I contacted the office after the service to voice my concern and received an apology.

I am very pleased with the service offered by Hardy Electrical. When we first called to report a problem, they responded quickly and fixed it the next morning. The technician was on time, communicated politely and did a great job fixing our electrical problems. We would highly recommend their services for small and large jobs. Super!!

Good work! James came in an emergency situation to help resolve a power surge to our furnace and water heater. He was very knowledgeable and professional.
