I usually don’t leave reviews unless good,but I don’t anyone else to loose money. I spent $1,200 dollars AC is still not working. Do not use tech named Evan, he came twice each time he promised problem would be fixed. Why else would I spend so much money, my faith in honesty gone. He lied both times,I hired another company they said as much. Beware he talked very belittling also has a problem with women and people of color.

Just had them come out to fix my shower drain. Vary nice man that came to my house. He knew what he was talking about and knew he stuff on pluming. Very fast coming out and Doing the work. Will you them an again.

They were prompt and really courteous when I needed to schedule a service for my drains being clogged / back upped and possible water leakage. However, I believe they grossly overcharged for snaking each drain ($179 a piece) as it was not a main line clog and the clog was not severe at all. I could understand that cost had the clog been quite severe and time-consuming, but nope, just was some hair that clogged up the drain and was a minor fix! Plus, we had some misgivings about cutting out part of the ceiling in our kitchen that had water damage. They cut out a giant hole (including beams) but there was no pipe there. Thus, it really didn’t need to be cut at all – at least not to the severity that it was cut. They charged an additional $199 for cutting through the ceiling. I feel that was an excessive cost as well. Plus, we need now hire a contractor to repair that part of the ceiling which is going to be extremely expensive. We needed a new faucet installed for the shower as well which they were prompt in doing that as well. Overall, it was nearly $700 for some very minor work. Our invoice literally says, “snaked two drains, caulked some, faucet replacement, and hole drilled into ceiling.” I feel like they charged twice as much as they should have, and I feel they should make their prices more reasonable. On the upside, they did do a really thorough inspection and were there to answer any questions we had, but I still feel that the cost unclogging of both drains was priced extortionately. Overall, I did appreciate the timeliness of the repair, but I can’t help feeling a bit taken by the excessive cost. We had no insurance to cover it so we had to pay out of pocket. I just want to make people aware to maybe get price estimates from various places because it might end up saving you quite a bit. We are first time homeowners so we didn’t really know but lesson learned! Update: We received a refund check / adjustment for some of the services rendered. We really appreciate the company going above and beyond in that regard. I have updated my star rating to 5.

My guys charged my 99 year old father $600 to install a bathroom sink faucet! My Dad purchased a simple, stationary faucet to replace a leaking one in his powder room, but needed help with the installation. The plumbers gave him no estimate before doing the job, but handed him this ridiculous bill as they left. Literally, all they had to do was drop the faucet and re-connect the water. Dad called the office the next day to discuss the bill, which he had already paid at the time of service. The so called ” business manager” curtly told him that they charge the “national average” for the jobs. So Dad paid the same amount that a California resident would pay, even though he is in the Cleveland area?! Completely absurd. Asked if he could have a Senior discount, or Veteran’s discount ( he is a WWII vet) he was told “No”. According to said business manager, this is all in accordance with their “new business policies”. My family has hired My Guys multiple times in the past, before these new policies were in place. They were pricey then, but always gave my elderly parents a discount. Now their prices are WAY out of line and they offer zero breaks. Do NOT hire My Guys, under any circumstances! I strongly discourage anyone elderly or on Social Security to even contact them. If I could give less than one star, I would. Update 3/17/2023 Spoke with the owner, Jerry, on 3/15 to follow up on his promise to correct the situation for my Dad. He stated that he would email a copy of the invoice to be reviewed. He has not done that, using the excuse that he had a knee replacement a week ago, and is only working three hours a week. I will give him until Tuesday to respond, then will be updating here until the issue is resolved. Also will be filing a claim with BBB. Update 4/3/2023 It has been over a month since my initial contact with this company regarding their unconscionable treatment of my father. I have received zero phone calls or emails, and absolutely no attempt has been made to rectify this matter, despite their 2x public promise to do so, (see one below. The first one was deleted by the business). If the owner is physically unable to take care of this matter months after knee surgery, then I suggest he find someone who is capable of picking up a phone or using a computer. In the meantime, we may need to resort to small claims court. Update 5/7/2023 Still awaiting this problem to be rectified. We have received zero contact from this company, despite repeated promises to make this right. My Guys Plumbing CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!! Update 9/7/2023 Unbelievable! It’s been six months and My Guys have still not addressed the fact that they ripped off a 99 year old Veteran. SHAMEFUL!!! Update 12/8/2023 Since this thread does not reflect your corresponding responses, I will fill in the blanks here. You claim that you have contacted my father and he has accepted the charges and that you have no contact info for me. That is a blatant lie. First of all, he never received an itemized work order. I asked for one. You promised to send one; you never did. I want to see an itemized work order that has been signed by my father! Secondly, no one ever contacted my father, nor my brother who lives with him. I have contacted your business multiple times. You most definitely do have have my contact information. You are just refusing to use it! I will continue to leave negative reviews until my father receives a reimbursement for at least $400. We will be expecting a check in the mail. Update: 4/17/2024 My Guys claim to have contacted my, now, 100 year old father and say he fully understands and accepts the work that was done. They continue to lie, rather than correct the problem. Do the right thing! Reimburse my Dad for your over-charges,!!!!

I have had this company out to my house twice now and both technicians were absolutely wonderful! They were professional, respectful and did everything they could to help me. Even the woman that answers the phone is super nice! You can’t go wrong with this company.
