HIGHLY recommended! I recently had the pleasure of working with Raptor Electrical for my patio renovation project. After researching several electrician companies online, I decided to reach out to Raptor based on their positive reviews. They did not disappoint! From the initial phone call with Luis, one of the owners, to the completion of the project, the entire experience was exceptional. Here are the highlights: Engaging and Thorough: Luis asked detailed questions to understand the scope of work. His probing approach ensured that the desired project outcome was achievable. Clear Process: Luis explained their process, leaving no room for confusion. He even proposed a site visit the next day to assess the project requirements and finalize the plan, including pricing. Smooth Execution: We agreed on everything, from the schedule to the specifics of the job. As someone with 30 years of experience as a global program manager, I can confidently say that the project couldn’t have gone any smoother. Professional Team: Luis’ brother Alejandro (also a co-owner) and the Raptor team arrived promptly on the scheduled day. They installed two outdoor fans (65 and 55 inches) along with new approved GFCI plugs, custom wiring and outdoor light switches. Plus, they installed new exterior lighting that instantly transformed the home look. The attention to detail was impressive. Constant Communication: Alejandro checked in with me at every key project step. This level of communication ensured that we stayed aligned with the planned outcome. Final Touch: At the end of the job, they walked me through everything they had done to make sure everything was as expected. And they cleaned up thoroughly, taking away all project-related trash. I’m really happy when I can find a company I can trust, especially when it comes to electrical work that can be a safety issue if done wrong. Raptor Electric is a fantastic, project management rich company that delivers. Thank you to Luis, Alejandro and to the two Raptor gentlemen that helped make my vision possible. Excellent job! Raptor took advantage of an emergency situation (the electric mast came off of our house in a storm) and absolutely gouged us on the price. When the same mast came off the house again later, they refused to stand behind their work. The person I spoke to at Raptor claimed a tree branch must have caused the mast to come down the second time.I specifically asked if they would stand behind their work even though it was 14 months later; outside the one year warranty. I was told they would as long as it hadn’t been ripped down by a tree branch. I sent them pictures of what was on the mast: a twig no thicker than a pencil. I recommend using anyone else.

Extremely overpriced for their services. They also don’t stand by their work. I spent over $2,000 with them on electrical work, including installing 2 new GFCI outlets outside. One of the outlets failed within months and was only used twice. They quoted me another $275 to replace the bad outlet (which only requires turning off the breaker and removing a couple screws then reattaching). When I refused the replacement service, the owner called me and tried to charge a fee just for checking the outlet (and never stated this upfront prior to the visit). I replaced the outlet myself in 10 minutes for $30. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your electrical needs. EDIT TO REPLY TO OWNER REPLY: Other than dealing with you and your company, I’m not having a bad day, that is your own assumption, which seems petty and rude. And your reply is factually inaccurate. I have all of the original documentation as well. There was never a mention of a visit fee. In fact, you said verbatim that “even if it’s the part & not the installation, we will come out and make things right by you”. No estimate was provided prior and no agreement was signed, nor was that verbally communicated. I deal with businesses like yours all the time too, that seek to take advantage of unsuspecting customers in need of services in a pinch. I stand by my original comments even more so now. I would not and will not ever contact you again for service and will urged others likewise. I also did hire someone “cheaper” for my EV charger installation, and they were better equipped, more knowledgeable, more professional, and half the price.

I’ve used Raptor Electric and GC three times so far over the last few years – first, a few years ago to help run an electrical connection to a new HVAC minisplit, and in 2024 for a master bathroom repair and renovation, as well as an exterior window trim replacement. For anyone who has ever had a fairly involved bathroom repair and remodel, the process can have twists and turns when “surprises” are discovered from problematic prior construction. Communication and a trustworthy relationship with your contractor are critical in such situations – both towards fixing such problems, but also in helping you as the client understand the ‘why’, the and their costs of all options, to arrive at an amicable solution. Luis, Alejandro and the Raptor team care about keeping the customer informed, manage expectations, and produce beautiful results. For all projects small and large, Raptor’s workers arrived on time, met and at times exceeded expectations, completed work within the anticipated timeline, and performed high quality work. I was also able to test their warranty from their completed work, which met my expectations towards making fixes (we had holes in our grout after curing, and Raptor scheduled a few weeks later to make the successful fix). Finally, Raptor’s pricing and bids in my experience were reasonable and in line with the market, especially in the context of the tremendous inflation we have all experienced in the last few years – they need to make ends meet too and business costs have risen. You can certainly skimp by finding a cheap contractor out there but expect the unexpected. In my view, spending a little more with Raptor is worth the piece of mind (and they also carry liability insurance – for further piece of mind!).

Dear reader, If you find yourself facing an electrical issue, may I suggest looking for another electric company that is more reasonably priced and honest. I found myself in a crunch on time to repair an electrical issue and found Raptor online with high reviews. I foolishly went off of that and after learning how I was led to believe that the electrical panels were not good , a fee to just come out isn’t always what electrical companies charge. Raptors discarded electrical panels and I found this out after hiring another electric company that they were still good. How it all works is new to me and it would be nice to find a good honest contractor who isn’t looking to get overly paid just because they know an insurance company is planning to pay. If I were you, keep looking..

Totally understand why this company is so highly rated! Customer service is A++++. Prices are competitive (there are no random additional charges). Electricians came on time, we’re professional, and nice! Definitely will recommend and tap this company again. What we got down: replacement of 3 smoke alarms. Very quick schedule turnaround. Accepts credit cards. Payment of invoice was simple.
