I highly recommend Orange Hat Electrical. Brian is super responsive, provided answers to all of my questions about installing a level 2 EV charger at my home and encouraged me to seek other estimates. It turned out that Brian’s estimate was the same as the others but I chose Orange Hat because Brian spent the most time with me explaining everything since it turned out that the work was going to me more involved than I expected. Most importantly, he did great work!

Messaged Brian on a Wednesday and appointment was scheduled for a Friday. No waiting around a week or longer- like a lot of other electricians I have experienced. He showed up at the agreed upon time. Did a great job helping me replace some GFCI outlets to prevent any sump pump issues. He noticed a few things that needed to be switched around on my main breaker and did it at no charge, explaining everything enthusiastically. Was a really nice guy. On his way out, I asked him a question about my recent smoke detector replacement of over 10 units that I had just taken a stab at, and how one of them was not taking to the bracket on the ceiling. He was like oh yea I’ll check that out for you, and did it at no charge. I tipped him and would highly recommend his services. Glad to know I now have a good electrician that I can reach out to in the event of an emergency or short notice job. Thanks Brian!

Brian came out in -30 wind chills and diagnosed our garage circuit problems the day after I called him, he then figured out what was wrong on the following Tuesday. He gave us a written quote with a variety of options and didn’t rush into diagnosing what was wrong. Which in the end saved us money.
