I needed my electric panel upgraded from 100 amps to 200 amps to accommodate conversion from my existing gas stove & dryer to electric. I got six estimates; two of them from major area Electrical contractors were more than double what Ungerman charged, two others were about 50% higher and one was competitive w Ungerman but he worked alone and was booked out for several months. The entire process w Ungerman went w/o any snags. Zach provided a clear estimate and talked me through the process before we even signed a contract. The guys doing the work, Patrick & Dillon, showed up on time, got right to work and finished all the work in the expected timeframe. Both were good, friendly, informative guys to work with and very patient with this homeowner’s numerous questions. All I can say is, when it comes to electrical services, UNGERMAN IS THE MAN!!

I had the very best customer service today. This company has my grace and appreciation forever. I got same day service for an urgent matter handles in less than a hours time. Zack and Gino were absolutely phenomenal THANK YOU UNGERMAN FOR THE WIN.

Could not have asked for better service . I called on a Sunday night and they could not have been nicer and did everything in their power to avoid having to charge me overtime fees. All their workmen are pleasant and informative. I would hire them again and recommend to anyone.

Susan Ungerman, Jeannine, and the rest of the superiors are all a bad example of “pro” black. Not only was I warned by the lady myself of her “past” racial bias. I will be accountable for accepting the help but it was thrown in my face the minute they “feel” I wasn’t preforming to what they wanted. Granted we all have off days but I was picked on my whole experience. I did alot from the day I was hired untill my untimely demise. They gave me no respect on why I was fired because they felt I should ask why. Yes New York is a @ will state but I have 5 kids and I honestly believe I was phased out. Not only did i not get a explanation but was not aloud to delete MY email from the computer with out threats to have the cops called on me. SHE HAD NO RIGHT TO PUT HER HAND ON ME!. May I also add they have no idea of most of what they supposed to do or how and electrical shop should be ran. I was constantly reminded of how I’m not trusted but put in a position where I should be. Majority of the workers are underpaid an thrown In the field with minimal training. The favoritism goes to all the Caucasian workers even though the mist experienced worker is African American. They let me clean they mess get 70% done with inventory then boot me. The saddest part is not knowing if I can keep the roof over my kids head. This one hurt cause i gave them 110 percent and constantly treat as if you can’t look my credentials up on nccer website. I was constantly treated like I was slow when I constantly showed them I had knowledge of what I was doing. Being in debt I asked to come in early and told no while others we’re aloud. I was ripped out the field never asked to not go out and be a asset. Was constantly told by other employees how I helped make there job easier but treated as if I was in special Ed by all of operations. I was told I had her full support then fired the very next day. Thus I’m here to share my experience dont feel i was giving a fair shake that’s all. Wish the best for them even though they are being robbed and you might be also.

We contracted Ungerman after dealing with violations, code enforcement, and other contractors who just didn’t show up. Jeannine was wonderful to deal with from the beginning and was on top of everything we needed for multiple properties! Ungerman did in a few days what others couldn’t do for months! I am so appreciative of this company and also Allen for his hold music selections! Amazing! If you need a fast, responsive, and reliable company, I’d personally recommend them above any other!

We contacted Ungerman Electric shortly after purchasing our home, as the inspection indicated some minor but necessary repairs. UE was responsive and communicative, and we were able to schedule a service visit within about a week. The repairs were completed quickly and skillfully, and the techs were professional, friendly, and informative. I plan to use Ungerman Electric again for any future electrical work.
