Came and removed our old water heater and put in the new water heater in only 1.5 hrs for only $500 (doesnt include purchase cost of water heater or disposal fee). They found out that the whole bottom was completely rusted out when they moved the water heater and the whole thing went all over the floor. Helped mostly clean up the mess and helped move the water heater away from our back door to one of our sheds.

They are great. I used them for a couple issues with sinks and a shower in a new place we bought. Then last weekend when my hot water pipe froze they walked me through what to do on phone to prevent burst and everything working great now.

Blue star plumbers were called by my friend to come and assess a drainage problem in my sink. They did not call to let me know they were on the way simply drove up in the driveway and then proceeded to come to the door. He never mentioned a price and was at my house in my home less than 5 minutes. He did not touch or do anything. He simply told me that the job would cost probably $600 Maybe more. I told him I did not have $600 but I would pay a service charge. I asked him what is it about $25, he said no $125. I looked at him and my jaw dropped. I said you haven’t done anything you haven’t even been here 5 minutes. he said yes I know but that’s what it is $125. I said I don’t have $125. He went outside and came back and said my boss says we can take 75. Please make sure that whoever is coming to do the job calls ahead and quote you a price including service charge before you let them in your house. Very unprofessional and highway robbery for nothing. I even told him that I was disabled and on Social Security it didn’t matter at all.

Shannon cam out and did a wonderful job. This job turned into a biger job then we thought, He stayed on it till we had water. I highly recomend Blue Star Plumbers as a GREAT service provider.

I called these guys and they quoted me a fee. It was a reasonable fee for a technician to diagnose my water heater. I made an appointment for 4:30PM. I drove from Dallas to Tyler to make the appointment, and missed my daughter’s volleyball game. They never showed. I called the next day and got an answering machine. Thats now going on 5 days without a call back. Should I look for someone else? I will keep yall posted. I hope they call me back with an explanation, or at least tell me to take a hike, so I can look elsewhere.
