Can’t say enough good things about them. Our toilets and drains clogged up over the weekend. We called after not getting a return call from a different plumbing company. I was surprised when Monique answered at noon, as I expected at lunch time, I would have to leave a message. She was quite helpful and did a great job answering our questions. We scheduled a service call and were thrilled to hear that it would be same day. Joseph called a short time later to ask if he could come earlier than scheduled. He did a great job! After the initial walk through inside he then got to work on the outside and under the house. Joseph did a great job explaining his findings and describing what he recommended be done. The price quote was well under what we were expecting to have to pay so needless to say we approved on the spot and he was done in under an hour. Highly recommend Discount Plumbing San Diego!

We had a shower leak causing water damage and needing immediate attention. They were very quick to respond and able to send out a technician within the hour. Hector was friendly and informative, helping guide me to the best course of action to fix the leak. He was able to complete the job efficiently without sacrificing quality. The pricing was fair as well. Would highly recommend!

It’s was a very horrible and bad experience with this plumbing services I ever encounter also the technician give me first an estimate of 6k just to replace an elbow tubes and 5 feet of copper pipe 1/2” – 3/4” shower set and shower valve and a faucet telling me that the quote price was base to company’s parts/charges. I told him not to do it and he came down with a Price of $2085.75 just to fixed the important thing which is the elbow leak and replaces some piping. I was also asked how the job done by a text how reply to them that it was an over charged services and they did not came back to me what is the reason.

I had a an issue with my shower head I accidentally melted it trying to take off the old shower head fixture and these guys came in and fixed the issue within 10 minutes of looking at it!! they were super kind and didn’t laugh at my dumb mistake. I will absolutely be calling again for any other issues in my apartment should they come up. I highly recommend this company and their workers!

Harrison M. at Discount Plumbing Rooter was very helpful in quickly resetting our kitchen sink’s garbage disposal. He was communicative, friendly, thorough, and professional in addressing our concerns. Monique at the office was helpful in following up on the quality of service afterward as well. Hey I just want to give this company a thumbs up !!!!! I had a plumbing issue a backed up line . I called a couple companies first and people said they were going to show up and they never showed up ? I finally got a hold of Discount Plumbing Cody the owner actually answered the phone and he came out within about 20 minutes figured out the situation the problem gave me a great price fixed the problem and went on his way so I just want to highly recommend CODY and Discount Plumbing in San Diego! Fast service at a really fair price !! Thanks Discount !

Hector L. and his co-worker I think his name was Josē came in fast for an assessment to replace my dripping faucet in the bathroom and firstly they said to me and to their manager over the phone that they can not remove the porcelain sink bathroom because of some microscopic cracks and it may break! I told them it won’t it is just surface cracks. Then I gave them the idea how to lift the porcelain off the wooden counter to reach below and replace the faucet and they finally agreed to give it a try. Then they wanted to shut off the water to my town house and I told them there is no need to do that it is slowly dripping you can replace the faucet they said no and started looking for the main valve and turns out it is connected to four homes and they said I need to notify HOA 24-48 in advance before shutting off the water and that is when I thought to myself, you can do it yourself! Then he said the cost will be $650 just for replacing the faucet! I thanked them and let them go, went to home depot, bought a $56 faucet, installed it in an hour without shutting off the water and without breaking the porcelain sink, saved myself $600 but already wasted another talking to them!

We have used Discount plumbing several times for our rentals and our home and Hector is the best, always arrives on time and fixes the issues without fail! And there prices are pretty good. Most importantly I have never had to wait all day for them to arrive and they give you a 2 hour window and they are true to that time frame,and the work is always done perfectly and they leave the place clean after wards.

Don’t be fooled by the name. We just paid $1692 for what amounted to 20 minutes of hydrojetting. This is the first time we’ve ever had the service done, and so we weren’t sure how much it should cost and stupidly approved the work – however it’s clear from speaking to others who have had the service done that we paid way too much. In fact the original cost was $1992 before being discounted to $1692, but even with the discount the cost for 20 minutes of hydrojetting is outrageous. We have no complaints about the plumber who came – in fact he also removed some foam that had got lodged in an additional drain – but if you’re looking for a company with fair prices I would look elsewhere. First negative review I’ve ever left!
