First time i used Butter Plumbing. I was out of town but gave access to my garage for the servicing of my hot water heater. The technician was very professional and helpful, explaining everything to me by phone. I am very pleased with the service and will use them again.

I had contacted Butter Company to fix a leak upstairs in our home. The First Gentleman dispatched to us was pleasant. Upon using the fixed bathroom we noticed that it was still continuing to leak after we had fans set to dry the area for plastering. I again contacted Butter Company and spoke with Margaret letting her know that the same area continued to leak. She waived a fee to come out and a man named Michael Jordan was sent to our home. He came in and notified us in less than 10 mins of him being here that he needed to get another ladder from around the corner as his was too short. I was to be at work already and around the corner turned in to no contact for over TWO hrs. I called the Butter Company for some type of update. Margaret informed me that Michael Jordan went “around the corner” to get the ladder but it was still too short and he had to go to the other side of town to their other office to get a ladder.. and his key had broken inside the door. She was on her way to assist him. I understand that unforeseen things happen. The professional thing to do would have been to contact me when the ladder was too short and let me know you had to go elsewhere and provided me with an eta. I shouldn’t have had to contact the company. So now three hours from the time he left he walks in no apology or explanation. I nicely told him that I would have appreciated a follow up as I did not hear from him for 3 hrs. He just looked at me and said “okay”. He walks upstairs without asking or notifying me he was going up. He was randomly walking around upstairs until my roommate came up and told him where the bathroom was. He goes in the bathroom and next thing you know was leaking downstairs in the second dining room. We had to get towels and ended up utilizing a bucket to capture the water flow. I went upstairs to tell him and he is cussing and yelling at the top of his lungs in the bathroom. He was yanking the toilet so hard that he was pulling his body back and forth and hit his head on the toilet. i informed him that leaking a lot downstairs (which we had to clean up ourselves ). Michael then said, LET ME TURN THE WATER OFF! Why are you working the area without turning the water off in the first place?! At this point I was so late for work that I had to leave my new roommate to stay with him. It was communicated that a bolt on the toilet was broken, I’m not surprised after what I saw. I notified the owner of the home of what had happened and how rude and unprofessional the man was. This was communicated to the company as well. Margaret apologized and offered to send another man in the following day to assist. I obliged. The next day I was waiting around and I called in for an eta after 12pm was informed by a woman named Ebony that the man who was to visit had called out that morning due to hurting himself . Again I was not notified that the man was no longer coming to my home. I told her about the previous visit and confused I was about the lack of communication the company had with their clients. She was short with me . She then informed me that they didn’t contact me because they only had to people working that day and that they were going to send pictures to the guy who was supposed to come to our get estimates . I asked her when the estimates would be available. She puts me on hold and all the estimates came in. I was waiting to talk to her and she didn’t get back on so I just hung up. I had received an invoice for the day Margaret had initially waived and called back. Ebony picked up. I said I just spoke with you you sent me an estimate for something Margaret waived it should be in the notes. Silence . Hello? I’m listening is what she said. She then told me we didn’t have to pay it. I said you sent me an invoice showing I owe you the fee. She again, said “you don’t have to pay it.” I just hung up. A couple of mins later she sends me a copy of the invoice I called in about with the amount due as $0. No professionalism , no follow up, and no delivery. .

Clarence was, hands down, the best plumber I have worked with. Courteous, professional, friendly. Also, when calling to schedule Tamara was a breath of fresh air…incredibly service oriented, friendly and chipper. Installed a Toto bidet toilet. Would give 100 stars!

Michael Jordan arrived on time, as promised, to repair a water leak from a prior installation by another tech from the same company. He arrived at 1:45 and worked steadily until the job was completed at 4:45, basically removing the prior tech’s plumbing layout with an entirely different layout, as the prior plumbing was not aligned properly, and leaked badly. As he was reconnecting the down line on the right sink, the connection fractured, which necessitated a new sink drainage assembly. Michael did it all professionally, and explained what was being replaced and why. At the end of the job, he said there was no charge, as it was warranty covered due to an improper prior installation. We have used Butter Plumbing for many years, as they stand firmly behind their work, and the warranty they offer is first class. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

I have done business with Butter plumbing for 22 years, as long as I’ve had my condo. Well, no more. In Nov I called because I tested my air conditioning and it was blowing warm air. It all runs through my hot water heater. I was getting hot water, heat but no air. They sent a technician and I thought all was ok. Charged what I thought was an extremely high price for a part, 1326.00. But I paid it with the guarantee of 2 years on the part and everything would work. It’s now June 8 and it all goes out. I call them and suddenly they say it’s not their problem. They don’t work an AC issues. But you sure did in Nov and you sure took my money for some part that now isn’t working. They send out a technician after I had to almost beg and was told I wasn’t important. He shows up clearly not going to look at anything. Says oh I’m told to play with the thermostat. Then says the part wasnt for AC it was heat, whichI said also doesn’t work. Figuring if you just fix the part it will fix it all. Of course when i said that on the phone they told me i didn’t need heat. Then he said nope can’t help, even though he clearly saw the heat also didn’t work. He did nothing, looked at nothing. They clearly sent him to pretend. He even got on the phone and snickered with his boss in front of me. So if you want to be ripped off and treated rudely this is your place. I’ve never in my life seen anything like this. I didn’t even have them out for something new…it was the whole reason they came out before! So I’m out 1326.00 and no AC in 110 weather. Great job guys, hope you are proud.

Colton is very friendly and professional, He performed the water heater maintenance and replaced the parts needed. Also, he explained me how much the water pressure should be inside the house and if it was higher than 80 psi call the company and b verified that the water conditioner was working properly. I am satisfied with his service and knowledge of his work. I have been using their services for more than 4 years in my house and I had not been disappointed.
