Olson Superior is simply the best. One Saturday morning, after returning from the gym, I noticed water leaking from my kitchen ceiling—a nightmare pin-hole leak. I immediately reached out to Olson Superior, and within 20 minutes, Master Plumber Eric was at my doorstep, ready to tackle the issue. He made sure the water was shut off and even performed a full home inspection. Soon after, Plumbing Veteran Ericson arrived to fix the leak. Before long, everything was back to normal—water flowing and peace restored. Since that day, I’ve relied on Olson Superior for all my plumbing needs. Ericson and Aaron have been nothing short of exceptional. They’ve installed a water pressure regulator, a tankless water heater, a halo water conditioning system, and replaced four widespread faucets. I had an experience that is very frustrating and ended up leading to an unnecessary insurance claim. I would say to be careful. I don’t think what they did was intentional…caveat emptor nonetheless About a month ago I get a knock on my door from my downstairs neighbor. I was in the shower when they knocked and the are below was dry at that time. They explained that there had been a leak that caused warping in the ceiling. It was a 1×1 area over the shower nozzle cut out and that area had completely dried. I invited Olson plumbing up to do an inspection and their guy did his thing. He ran water through the sink and bathtub overflow for about an hour at which point they were stumped on the leak. I explained to them that my sink doesn’t drain and they didn’t look in to it. At that point everything was completely dry and the first plumber left. I invited him to come back for another inspection if he would like. An hour or two later the guy returned with a second plumber, but the second time he removed the bathtub overflow and showed me a piece of cracked seal. He then poured water through the overflow for another 10-15 minutes until he got a call from downstairs saying they found the leak. When our plumbers came the next day they explained that none of the water from upstairs had been draining and it likely backed all the way up to the bathtub. There was a leak underneath the downstairs sink/toilet which subsequently made my upstairs bathroom unable to drain. They also explained that about 5 gallons went through in a single day during the diagnosis and only about 1/4 a gallon could had gotten through cumulatively over a year period with the cap in place. When Olson took did the diagnosis they created a new leak A 1×1 area of damage turned in to a whole bathroom remodel downstairs as a result of taking off the bathtub overflow, removing a piece of the seal, and pouring water through the hole. My quote from Olson was $700 more than the property manager plumber and it would have left me with a sink and toilet that were still unable to drain

We had a water heater breakdown episode on Sunday night, and we decided to give Olson Superior Plumbing a try. Daryl and Richard were our technicians, and we can’t thank them enough for their professionalism, extremely high level of expertise, and above and beyond customer service!! They did such a fantastic job of helping us troubleshooting and resolving the issue in such a short time window, and very honest about the feasible and practical options that we have to fix the water heater unit without going overboard to just telling us to get a new unit. Highly recommend Olson Superior Plumbing!!! You will be impressed by their dedication to client satisfaction!!!!

They installed a Navien tankless water heater and they had no idea how to do it. I had another certified technician look at it and they said they had mixed up the return. They also sold me the wifi link for it and they had no idea how to set it up. I have called over a year without success to get that going.

I hired this company recently based on the reviews I’ve read and ended up a complete disaster. Initially they sent out an experience person with a trainee. They handle themselves in a very professional manner took a lot of time to tell me what was wrong, so we scheduled them to come back, and the lead plumber said he would be the individual overseeing everything in our home The day of the service somebody else came instead because he apparently had a family emergency . The person who came to the house was a very nice individual seemed capable however, he really didn’t know what to do initially, he said he had notes but he really did not have a good idea and it took an hour plus just to get started as he kept calling the office to see what was necessary. In addition, he did not come with the right tool to open the Moen faucets to get to the cartridge so he left for almost 2 hours to find the right tool and ultimately came back and the tool he brought back to use was not the . Correct tool. My biggest complaint is as follows: they indicated I had cross line issues as our problem is that our shower keeps getting hot and cold, intermittently, they said I needed to replace one cartridge in each of our showers and also needed to replace cartridges in one or two of our faucets in the bathroom. I want to stress the faucets in the bathroom are two handle faucets. They could open the faucets up since they didn’t bring the right tools for my Moen faucets, and I eventually told them to stop and leave as they were leaving the person who was here who I thought was very nice indicated he could tap the lines under the bathtub, which again was a two handle faucet, and that would take care of that particular issue and then we could either have someone come in and put cartridges in the bathroom faucet at the sink or replace the sink. They left and the next day and another plumbing company came out and to my dismay indicated that you cannot have cross lines occur with two handle faucets. He then checked around the house and found that under the sink they wanted to replace the cartridge in. There was a pump for hot and cold water, which is more than likely the culprit. I decided to do my own research and now I’m 100% sure the second plumber was correct from the other company and you cannot have crossover occur with to handle faucet. By the way, initially the person from Olson superior Plumbing responded to my question as to whether I wanted to just replace the faucets or the cartridge by saying you really better offer replacing the cartridge that pertaining to the to handle faucet at the sink in the bathroom the cost was 400+ dollars To replace the cartridge . Luckily, they couldn’t open the sink faucet to put it in as I found out the next day I could buy the exact faucet for $189 online which I now have done even though I don’t need to replace it. To top it off the plumber from Olson superior plumbing, who capped the line under the tub, capped one of the lines too short, so in order to re-hook up everything we have to get a part from Moen. The second plumber showed me what he was talking about took photos which I have , it really bothers me the way this was handled and I thought I would share this with the public. I am not saying all the good reviews are not true. I’m simply conveyed to you what happened when they came to my home so I would not personally recommend them. I am a very successful former business owner /entrepreneur and this is not the way to handle business in my estimation. I would also urge people to get a second opinion From a second plumber, just as you would, if you were told by a doctor you needed surgery
