Repeated no shows after confirming arrival, no call to tell you they are not coming and if they do say they are coming and then dont show up, they purposely dont answer the phone. I stupidly called them in another plumbing emergency when I couldnt find anyone a year after they had done this before. And to my “surprise” they did it again and I wasted all day waiting for a no show plumber when I have family coming to visit tomorrow. Dont waste your time.

Would highly recommend Gary’s rooter and plumbing. They came to us quickly as we had to shut off our water do to a bad leak at an outside frost free spigot. They replaced it with a new one and restored out water. Very friendly and professional and prompt.

BUYER BEWARE! Gary’s was by far the worst choice that we have made with contracting services in town. We initially called Gary’s Rooter & Plumbing to assist with a minor leak on our toilet at our home. Jeremy (Gary’s son) arrived to our home and quoted us $200 for materials and 1 hour of labor ($142 per hour). He then offered to reinstall a new toilet for the same price. I confirmed that we would only move forward if the cost was the same to which he agreed. Upon installation of the toilet, we received an “invoice” for $627. We then spoke with Mary (Gary’s Wife) regarding the 80% increase in cost and in the middle of our conversation Gary took the phone and began cursing us out saying “You better pay me my F$%#ing money or else” “If you don’t pay me right now, I’ll take you to F$%#ing court”. Keep in mind that the “invoice” which was a hand written note on a restaurant ticket showed no terms and this conversation took place 4 days after completed service. If you do have the misfortune of working with this company, I highly recommend requesting a formal quotation and be prepared to receive the brunt of Gary’s anger management issues and intimidation tactics if the invoice is significantly higher than quoted.

I called July 1st to see if they have any open to come fix a pipe and they were the only one that had opening and the lady on the phone they would be at our house bewteen 4-6 pm. but around 1:30 they called and said they would be here in 30 minute. Jeremy and Josh came and had our pipe and new outside faucet fixed in 30 minutes and my husband ask what he could do to fix another probably and they went ahead and fixed.. we talked about need an access door and they cut the hole to the right size. they we really friendly. We would use them again in a heart beat. Thanks again Jeremy and Josh for helping us out.

I had them come out to give a bid. They made verbal promises that they would take on the job. Never heard from them again. Called spoke to the lady in house and asked for update, again never heard back.

I called at 2:30pm after hearing I had a water leak under my house. They came out by 445p and had the leak fixed quickly. They had good rates and did an excellent job. I will definitely use them again!!!!

I called Gary’s Monday morning and the woman who answered was so lovely and kind. She let me know Jeremy and Josh would be our technicians and their expected time of arrival. Jeremy and Josh showed up on time, were extremely professional and quick. Price quoted was accurate. They did not try to sell me on things I didn’t need. Overall the job exceeded our expectations of service, came in under budget, was fixed promptly with customer care and we already plan to use them again for future projects. We gave them a big tip and they were shocked. Tip your plumbers y’all. It’s a gross thankless job. Thanks Gary’s. I won’t hesitate to call back. M Also I’d like to add that 2 other top recommended companies couldn’t even come look at it till Thursday. It was Monday when I called and we had a broken hot water supply line so I had microwaved water for a shower Sunday to avoid paying 250 an hour for weekend emergency services. They are a family owned business and treat you like the family (that you like) University of Oregon central kitchen use to call them for all their needs and when I worked there because it was done right, quick and efficiently. I highly recommend this company.

We just moved in and realized there was no garbage disposal. Of course we call around and no availability for a month. We call this company, a nice lady answers and she really does her best to find availability for us. She sent her two sons, Jeremy and Josh out the next day. They were punctual, professional, friendly, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. We will definitely keep their number handy. It was such a pleasure working with them!
