Bob arrived at my apartment the same day I called for a clogged bathtub. Turns out I had a bad drain pipe. Bob went and got everything needed for the repair, came back and finished the job. He stayed late and made sure it was all done for me. Thank you Bob! Great guy! Great service! Excellent job!

Had Bob over for a repair on my boiler. He told me the firebox would need to be replaced sooner than later, and quoted $400 for the box and another $200 for labor. I scheduled this a few months later. When he arrived, I thought it odd that he didn’t bring in a new firebox with him. Just a couple of tools and a bucket with some other stuff in it. I didn’t watch him work, but he finished in less than 30min, which given it was to replace the entire firebox, I thought that was odd too. And of course, he came out of my basement without an old firebox. Then, he charged me $800, not $600. I’ve kicked myself ever since that I didn’t make all of the above an issue. I just paid it and moved on. Recently I had another repairman over for an unrelated job. I asked them to look at my boiler and tell me if I had a new firebox. Sure enough, nope. No new firebox. There was some sort of new protective liner or something inside my existing firebox. But that isn’t what I paid for. All this to say, BUYER BEWARE! Get quotes on paper and make sure the people you hire show you their work before you pay them. I was a new resident at the time, and unfortunately learned this lesson the hard way.

We had a septic pipe which needed replacement. On a Friday night, in the dark, Bob came out and fixed it all within an hour. As our home has 6 senior residents, we were very grateful for his quick response and professionalism. Thanks Bob and Plumtrees!

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experience from any company. We told them we didn’t have any hot water from the ‘new’ water heater that he installed a year ago. You would think it’s an emergency and you would come and fix the problem that you created. Instead he gives me a time on a Saturday and wasted my whole day. Then we set up a time for Monday and he wasted my day again. Now I have another guy that’s going to install a new water heater correctly the first time and it should last at least 6 to 10 years. Do not use ever.

Bob was great, and was able to help me same day with a dead water heater. Turns out he also installed my house’s new septic system 15 years ago (just before I owned it) and he remembered! Super friendly, too. I’ll be recommending him to anyone in the area who needs any plumbing (or septic!) work done.

Not sure what all the bad comments are for. I have been using plumtrees for all of my plumbing needs and additions. When dealing with a 24 hour service contractor scheduling can be difficult and that needs to be understood before hand.

Completely dissatisfied – More of a butcher than a plumber. The quote I received was to install PEX that would go up one wall – through the ceiling and down another wall. They showed up 4 hours late. Smashed jagged holes in the ceiling to feed the pipe through. They left the pipe hanging from the ceiling – free floating in the garage and then through the wall on the bottom rather than threading it through the wall as they were contracted to. Left me with hundreds of dollars and many, many hours of work to do myself. When questioned I was told that he left enough slack so I could put the pipe in the wall. Only positive thing I can say about the experience is that the connections appear to be water tight. I could have and in retrospect should have done this myself. At least I would not need to re-sheet rock large portions of my house.
