My toilet was running for about three days, and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. I called a few plumbers to get this done ASAP. The first one gave me a quote of $1,500 to replace all of my older toilet parts. I looked up the parts online, and they would have cost $200 to order. The labor would have taken 2-3 hours to complete, which puts the total hourly rate of this large plumbing company at $400 an hour. That was just way to expensive. I then called Alligator Plumbing in Castro Valley. They came over within a few days and recommended replacing my toilet because of how old it was. That hadn’t even occurred to me. They ended up bringing me a new toilet and installing it that day, saving me over $700 from the initial quote. I appreciate how fast the moved and to throw out better options. Would highly recommend them

This company is SCANDALOUS. I had a leak which appeared to be near my water heater, but it was not. It was actually coming from my shower valve. Alligator wanted to charge me $1200.00 to remove any water heater, see where the leak was going from then additional to fix the leak. I called a different plumber who came in an hour and discovered the leak was from my shower valve. You could see it right from where the water heater is so really no need to take off the water heater.. The other plumber fixed any leak through the shower assembly. The cost was $275.00. Alligator will RIP YOU OFF.

Great service and communication. I’ve used them a few times with good results. The technician Freddy came and checked out a plumbing issue and did some testing and research. After checking it out we decided it’s something we can monitor and I appreciated the honest help and time he took to explain.

Alligator plumbing was recommended on Nextdoor. My pressure release valve had a leak. I got several estimates big range 250-1750. They were fast to respond with estimates and recommended updates of the 40 year old other parts. The day of the appointment I got a text then Manny the tech called to say there was traffic n he would be about 20 minutes late. He confirmed the job and price. He was polite fast and very efficient. I would recommend Alligator plumbing to anyone

We had Fredi come out to fix our shower faucet, he was punctual, professional, and very hard-working. He took his time to explain to us exactly what he was going to do and took his time to do the job thoroughly. I highly highly recommend Fredi and Alligator Plumbing .👍👍👍👍

Jason and his team re-arranged their schedule to accommodate our semi-emergency the other day when we had water pouring out of our broken water heater. He and his great plumbers were here the next day to completely take care of the problem. They were professional and timely, and worked very well with my wife on this job. Highly recommended, and we will definitely call Alligator first next time!
