Joey and Dion were awesome! My water heater was about to go and I had another plumber lined up. His back went out the day he was supposed to work on it. The water heater is in the attic and started leaking down the walls. I called Cold is on the Right and they came out the same day to assess and make sure it didn’t leak anymore. They fixed it so I at least had water. They replaced the water heater two days later. They also fixed a few other issues at my house. Cold is on the Right is my new plumber!

Jake and Matt were top notch. Solved problems with my main sewer line and cleanout in 2 hours that others spent days trying to figure out. These guys were transparent, talked me through everything they were seeing / how they were fixing it and offered to show me the sewer camera feed all along the way, too. From a separate visit I also learned that Cold is on the Right is stacked with more experience on the plumbing side (either Master Plumbers or very close to it) than most businesses in the Bee Cave/Lakeway area. I am always careful with service businesses now but have found Cold is on the Right to be effective and honest about the work they are doing. Recommend.

Update after reading owners response – in this case then I would say that both your technicians as well as manufacturer rep you spoke with are clearly inexperienced and unknowledgeable because even my simple google search shows that the error code displayed on my unit has nothing to do with the part you changed. And instead of offering to return my fully functional part, you chose to ignore my frustrations and instead offered to fully replace my unit. Cold is on the Right is in the business of taking advantage of their clients. They completely misdiagnosed the problem with my water heater leaving me with a $1,200 bill and still no hot water. When I called to express my frustration, I was met with an unprofessional response – basically sorry you’re out of luck but we will gladly continue to take advantage of you by replacing your water heater for more $$$ than their local competitor quoted. I was promised to get a call back from a service manager which never happened. Very disappointing experience.

I’ve had issues with my AC nearly every year, and used a different plumbing and air service each time to address repeated problems with my condensate drain line backing up. Matt from Cold is on the Right was the first technician to catch that I had a restriction in the refrigerant line through my wall and attic. The job became much more complicated, but their team was able to identify and replace every part of the old lines that were completely bent up inside the wall. Apologies for the long and complex job, but I’m very glad you were thorough with the diagnostics and took the time to identify the root cause of my issues. They also found that my AC unit was not properly wired to my thermostat to support 1st and 2nd stage cooling, which they were also able to fix during the other repairs. I found their prices for the service to be very reasonable. I will be using them again for any future plumbing and air issues.

I had a leak in the yard that needed repair. The team was highly professional, gave an accurate estimate, and very fair pricing. They came out quickly and had my line repaired much sooner than I had expected. I’d def. call them again!

Have issues with water smell, they charged me $100 to tell me to wash my dishes better. On another visit they insisted on changing the pressure regulator even though it was not the issue and it did not fix the problem.

I’ve been using Cold is on the Right for years. They just put in a tankless water heater and replaced some bathroom cutoffs and faucets. The front office is on top of things and the folks that come out are friendly, fun and love to explain everything they did for you. Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had dealing with service organizations!
