The address listed is not max plumbing!!! Please don’t continue to use this company. As what we have heard from customers showing up to our house complaining about their work! We have asked them multiple times to remove our address. And they don’t comply!

Max Plumbing SCAMMED $5,000.00 from me! I hired them to install a new gas line and when Centerpoint requested to see the permits, Max Plumbing was nowhere to be seen. We have called them MULTIPLE times and the call takers will set up appointments that end up NO SHOW. I have since contracted a licensed plumber and he has confirmed that their work was absolute TRASH and would NOT pass inspection. FOLKS IF YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED OFF OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, THEN THIS IS THE COMPANY FOR YOU! STAY AWAY!!

We were doing a bathroom remodel. We needed a plumber to install tub and shower fixture and rework some funky piping in the wall behind the shower & tub from the previous homeowners DIY project. The plumber was awesome, he was very knowledgeable & good at explaining our options to fix the funky piping. The new tub/shower fixture fits perfectly & looks great. He left the work area in perfect order when finished. To me projects that include remodel & retrofitting always takes more skill. I would definitely call on Max Plumbing help us out again.

I can always depend on Max Plumbing to keep my unit in tip top condition. We had bought a new unit from them last year which was quite an investment. I advise everyone to do the same and take care of what you have so that it will last longer. 5 star service!

I hired Max Plumbing to come out and scope the sewer of a house I was intending to buy. The person I spoke to when scheduling mentioned they also do several other things like roofing, electrical, and handyman things, so I contracted them to also give me quotes on several other issues with the house. I made very clear when I scheduled that my realtor would be taking hours out of his day to go sit at the house and wait for them, and the person I spoke to was very understanding. They upsold me to some premium services contract and told me they’d be there today between 11-3. My realtor has been there the entire time, and I started calling for updates on arrival time at 130. I was told the technician scheduler would call me back. By 230 no one had called. I called back, and I was told the same thing. No one called by 250 so I called the 1800 # attached to the premium service they upsold me to, where I was once again told the tech scheduler would call me back within 30min. I told the man I had been told that twice in the last 90min and no one had called me back, and I asked if they were even coming today. He said IF they are, they will be there by 6. I questioned IF? So what is the point of a window then if they still might not show up? He didn’t have an answer. Literally every time I’ve called Max Plumbing a different person has answered and sounds to be in a call center. After doing a little research, I suspect Max Plumbing may actually be a sort of astroturf ‘small business’ that’s owned by this Premium Home Service group that sells a membership. As mentioned, you never speak to the same person when you call, and there wasn’t a noticeable difference in background noise from calling the listed Max Plumbing number vs the 1800 number in the confirmation email you receive. Overall, my experience here has been terrible. I was really hopeful I’d found a local all around handy business, but in the end it’s all a let down and stinks highly of a scam. Edit: I called the 1800# again this morning to ensure my Premium Home Service membership cancellation was being processed since the app still shows me as active AND they had the gall to mark my services complete (no one ever showed), and the man I spoke to today said they’re just having trouble finding contractors and technicians in Texas. I said, that’s strange, because I was under the impression that I called a LOCAL plumber when I first called Max, but you’re confirming that, in fact, every time I called Max at a local number, that call just rolled over to your national phone bank? And he said yes ma’am. He also said my membership cancellation hadn’t made it through their refund team coz they have a lot of work right now, so apparently I’m not the only one requesting a refund on this garbage service.

I called a number of plumbers in my area for a new kitchen sink and faucet installation and 3 bathroom faucet swaps. The plumber called very quickly with a very good estimate. He was much young than his low gruff over-the-phone voice would suggest. I am very pleased with work he completed for us. Highly recommended.

I just made call for service again. I feel they are trying to help their customer very nicely. At least the customer service representative is nice and good. So I have to modified this review again. They are reliable only if you have good patient for their service. ——- this is previous review —— I was calling service for my new oven to make pilot start. The representative recommended me if I get the premium service paying by $150 for a year then I get benefit to be discount program and good service too. I liked that idea and got a premium service. The representative told me that someone would call me for the service appointment on the same day. But nobody called me by now and I called the company again but heard all technician are very busy. So I have to wait 1 more week just for checking up over my problem. If I knew this before I get premium service I might had to figure out other way but I guess it’s too late now. I have only choice to wait until the technician come out to check the problem. What I want to say is I must not expect too much on this company.

I am very disapointed with the service (or lack there of) from this company. I spoke with them early Tuesday and they said a tech would be out that day. I called on four different occasions that day to recieved an update and spoke to four different people, all of who asured me I would recieve a call from a tech within thirty minutes (call center I guess). Nisha (who said she works with the tech) finally called latee in the afternoon and said they could not get to me utill Thursday but would call that morning to confirm time. No one called this morning. I called around 10 and they gave me ab 11-2 window and said I would here from tech thirty minutes prior. Never heard from tech so I called again around 130pm. This person says there is no work order and that I would here from a manager within thirty minutes. Two hours later (and two wasted days of my life), I still have not heard from anyone regarding service. I would not reccomend this company.

Max Plumbing technicians came right on time and were professional throughout the whole process. They were clean and left the area the same way it was before they arrived. They explained everything they were going to do and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend them.
