When we had water damage from a pipe leak, our drywall contractor recommended Wick Wood Floors. And, now we know why. Not only was their quotation far and away the best we received but the overall quality from the Cali Vinyl flooring to the actual installation itself was amazing. In less than 3 days our family room, kitchen and entrance way were completely transformed and greatly improved. We are absolutely pleased. We do recommend Wick Wood Floors most highly.

WICKS WOOD FLOORS have created a masterpiece in my home and the words I would use to describe them are breathtaking, beautiful, magnificent, gorgeous, stunning, elegant, glorious, wonderful, and attractive. Every one of WICK’s fine craftsmen who came into my home, starting with Mike Wickert and then continuing with his fine, skilled, experienced, expert team, went about first carefully removing my old flooring and replacing it with bundles of hand chosen red oak. They worked in every room of my 5 bedroom home, including kitchen, dining room, family room, and Florida room, and they left our family home the gift of their integrity, skills, and talent. Please don’t go anywhere else! I have experience with others, but the one you will be most happy with is WICKS! Call today and you will be met from the start with a warm hello from Carrie. There honestly is not anyone working for WICKS who does not make you feel like you are their only priority and they want to leave you satisfied and happy with their work. 2 appointments now scheduled months (5 to 7) in advance with no call and no show.. great way to run a company.. asked why, another no call.. spend your money somewhere else… They apparently don’t need it

18 years, 2 families, many kids, multiple dogs and life is hard on hardwood floors. It was time to sand and refinish them and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the work that Wicks Wood Floors did for us. With the exception of the living room and an office, our entire first floor is wood, so the idea of taking on this project – with 2 kids, 3 dogs and 9 years worth of life and furniture – has been nothing short of daunting. The owner, Mike, walked us through the entire process up front, helped us understand what to expect and put us entirely at ease. The team completing the work was friendly, helped me with choosing the right products and color, respected my home and did a phenomenal job. I can tell the attention to detail that was taken and they left almost no dust behind. I can’t recommend Wicks enough.

Floors overall look good and nice people to work with, but attention to detail is lacking. Instead of replacing boards with pieces out of them, they used putty that does not match the color of the wood. There are gaps between pieces of wood, and communication as a whole was lacking.

We had a great experience with Wicks. To start, the owner personally does the site visit to evaluate the space and give recommendations. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. They have a great variety of wood flooring options. We ended up choosing a reclaimed wood for three spaces and it turned out exactly how we imagined it. See the pictures added! We did the den, great room, and master bedroom. Mike informed us on all the important aspects to consider: humidity, plank size, direction of the boards, repairs of subfloor… etc. we felt very comfortable that our investment would be installed correctly and last. During the project they had to reinforce and repair our subfloor in order for the boards to run our preferred direction. Another benefit is the in-house staining after install. The staining guy worked with us for a couple hours while we were getting the perfect pigment for each room. He would mix the stains on site to give us multiple different options to view in the space. This definitely prevented us from choosing the wrong color and from going to dark with the stain. His staff was very professional during install. They seemed very experienced with the reclaimed wood and finished it so that it was as durable as possible. All in all, we are very pleased with the work done and are happy with our decision to use Wicks. Mike and his staff will guide you through the process and prevent you from making bad structural and design decisions, giving you the confidence that your floors will last. We plan on using them in the near future to redo the rest of the floors in our house.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The front office is courteous and answered all my questions. It took me 2.5 years to pull the trigger on this project, and they were not pushy at all. All the guys that worked on the refinishing project were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate some out-of-scope finishing touches while they were here. My 65 year old oak floor looks like it is brand new. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who is looking for this type of service.
