First I like to say this is our third time getting this kind of flooring on our garage floors. So we are definitely familiar with this kind of process. The first two times we used another company but unfortunately they went out of business so we found CAP Concrete. The experience was interesting for sure. The sales guy was nice, and told us all the things we wanted to hear (of course) he did like to down talk the competitors which I always find funny but no biggie there. The day came to do the install, all was fine in the beginning, but in the end, they ran out of material and had to wait for someone to bring them more product (no biggie, or so we thought) the product they needed arrived and they finished the project and left. My husband and I waited a while for it to dry and went to inspect. Well because they ran out of product and had to wait for more, it made the drying obviously different. So the pads were all different colors and not matching. We call them and tell them what went wrong, and how we don’t like how the floor turned out. Keep in mind we already paid in full. Well they tell us they didn’t know when they can get us on their schedule to fix the issue because they are so busy. We told them “ok, well tell your book keeper not to cash the check because we put a stop to it” they asked us why and we told them it’s because the job hasn’t been completed. Well all the sudden they found an opening the same week on Friday. Surprise surprise. They came and fixed the issue and all was good from there, but funny how they didn’t have any openings until we stopped the payment on the check. So heads up on that when it comes to paying in full and the job not being complete yet.

Gougers!!! Don’t use them A one to two hour job bid to sand off a single coat of paint from my concrete was over $2000 I rented a sanding machine for $100 and paid $115 for new blades per day There is no way to justify this companies $2000+ charge other than they are gouging the customers When I decided to only go with sanding the concrete , the bid went from $698 sanding the concrete to over $2000 for the same concrete sanding Very high pressure on the bidding process Wanted me to sign on the spot Called me cheap because i did not accept their bid

Just want to let you all know what a great experience we had with Cam and how much we love our new garage floor. Cam was super nice and helpful through out the entire process. Cam shared all the stats and info that helped us make the right decisions. And the instillation is perfect.

We had our concrete basement floor refinished by CAP Concrete in December 2023. They turned an ugly, dusty concrete floor into a dance floor. From coming to give us a quote, scheduling the job to actually coming and doing it all in one day, the team members were highly professional and very friendly. Great decision to use CAP concrete, worth every penny and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL if you are thinking about using CAP CONCRETE COATINGS to coat your concrete floors. It is very slippery when wet and we have had several slips and falls. They have had multiple complaints but do everything to ignore the problem. CAP’s website states their surfaces are slip resistant and non-slip. They claim safety is a priority. This is not true. If you read the fine print in the manufacturer’s warranty it states that it DOES NOT warrant the coating system will create a slip resistant surface. The warranty also claims that the surface can become slippery under certain conditions including exposure to wet conditions. CAP does not supply you with a copy of the manufacturer’s warranty until after the job is complete and is not available on their website. They absolutely misrepresent their product. We even had our surface tested to the National Standards for friction and slip resistance of hard surface flooring material. It failed to meet even the minimum threshold. The coating looks nice but please be careful especially if you have young kids or elderly family. They will claim they can add materials to make it more slip resistant. We have it and it doesn’t work. Ask them questions if you are considering them. Have you had any slippery surface complaints? Why does the warranty state it is not slip resistant when your website states it is. Do not trust these people.
