Charles Day Flooring exceeded our expectations! After interviewing several companies, we knew that Charles was the one we trusted in our home to refinish our hardwood floors. The results speak for themselves in the pictures. Charles was punctual, professional and did fabulous work. He fixed some problem areas and installed new baseboards also. We highly recommend using Charles Day Flooring.

Would give a 10 star rating if Google let me. Charles Day and company did an amazing job restoring our 110 year old fir floors. Not only did Charles know how to properly protect floors of that age, he was excited to create a custom color to better match the other woodwork in our home. On top of that he was fully communicative and willing to work around our schedule, including putting in extra time when the job needed it. We are so happy with the end result and the Day family’s decades of experience in flooring craftsmanship really shows. Thank you!

Charles Day of Day Flooring is one of a kind. He willingly shared his extensive knowledge to make sure my project was completed on time flawlessly. He is a perfectionist with good problem solving skills, which is extremely helpful. After having worked with contractors who didn’t really care about the quality of their work, it has been a pleasure to work with Charles. If you’re looking for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism, you’ve found the right business. Charles refinished red oak floors in our 1980’s home and they couldn’t be more beautiful. I didn’t think the terrible orange look of the 80’s could be really be improved, but WOW. Our whole house got a facelift. Or floorlift. Whatever. Charles took time to go through different finishes, how they would wear and last overtime, and helped us choose something we would love and that would last. We get compliments on our floors all the time. His bids are more than fair, contract language is clear, and provides excellent customer service. If you want someone who knows flooring like the back of his hand, and care to support small business, Day Flooring is 10/10. Thank you for your excellence, Charles!

Wanting to have our hardwood floors refinished seemed like such a huge undertaking that we kept putting it off. Then a friend recommended Charles Day. Best recommendation ever. His knowledge of flooring and how different stains look on different types of hardwood is amazing. Our floors are red oak and we wanted a new look with more brown tones and the red tones muted. After spending 3 days prepping our floor, Charles tested multiple stains in different areas to enable us to make the best decision. He was very patient and guided us to the right stain selection. Charles is a perfectionist and he spent extra time to make sure we were totally satisfied. Our floors came out more amazing than we could ever imagined thanks to Charles Day.

We are extremely pleased with the work Day Flooring Co performed on our dining and living room hardwood floors. Charles was prompt with an estimate, provided consulting on the aesthetics such as stain color and type of finish. We were giving a specific start and completion date and both were achieved. We were amazed with the amount of effort and the strive for perfection in their work. The process was truly dustless causing us very minimal disruption in the rest of the house. The finished floors look beautiful.

Charles is by far the best!!!!! Any floor installation or hardwood refinishing this company is the place to go with. The price was unbelievable and the craftsmanship of baseboards and flooring repairs is remarkable! His attention to detail goes above and beyond what you would expect.
