Just had our garage floor finished. WOW!! What a difference. Our floor was cracked and uneven and frankly embarrassing for people to see. Now I want everyone to see it! The guys worked their butts off in this heat and I felt so bad for them but they were amazing! We LOVE our new floor and I highly highly recommend GatorGuard!!!

My experience with GatorGuard began with an outstanding sales rep for the company, who was so knowledgeable, helpful and able to answer all of my questions. I booked the application at our initial appointment. Jon is a true asset to this company! The company has a policy of charging customers $250 if they need to reschedule their service without providing at least two weeks notice. I needed to cancel/reschedule twice, due to conflicts with a restoration company doing other work at my home, but did adhere to the company’s two-week notice that was required. When the day came for my service appointment, I received a phone call from Darius, at 7:48 a.m., indicating that they were short-staffed, and that the application would need to be delayed, to start the following day. Darius indicated that they would be at my home between 8:00 and 8:30 the following morning, but at approximately 8:20 a.m. that day, Darius called again, indicating that they would be late arriving to my home. I thought the required work had been completed that first day, until day #2. On day 2, the “team” was supposed to arrive at my home between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 pm. At 2:45 p.m., while I was on the phone with the GatorGuard office attempting to find out if they were coming, one guy arrived. Note that he was 45 minutes later than the end of the time window given, with no communication, phone call, etc. To make matters worse, they had failed to perform the first day process (moisture barrier) to exterior steps, which, Darius initially advised, was not included in the job. He said he had reviewed the contract and they were not included; however, I had a contract which expressly did include the steps in the job. Things went from bad to worse, with Darius’ attitude, talking over me, and indicating how he/the company had handled everything with my job correctly. After he had spoken with Jon and had found the contract which included the steps, (taking no responsibility) he indicated that they would be able to perform, what had been sold to me as a two-day process, that day. This was not acceptable to me, as Jon had indicated that if any company indicated that they could do this type of application in one day, to run the other way. So, at my strong request, he reluctantly agreed to have the team return the following day to finish the application. No arrival time was given, and no communication was provided, as to when I should expect the team to arrive. I made my complaints known to Jon and Aeriel (GatorGuard customer service), and although both were kind and receptive to my concerns, I felt compelled to submit this review. A company that touts how they are family owned, treat others as family, and pledges to always be punctual with their services and communication, fell miserably short in my case. I totally understand the necessity to reschedule services, if there is inclement weather, but to assess a $250 penalty on customers who may not be able to meet their two-week required cancellation policy, and to not adhere to that same policy for their clients, is just poor business. As for the quality of the application, less than a month later, it looks nice. The quality remains to be seen. This is the reason for two stars instead of one. I definitely can’t, in good conscience, recommend this company.

Job completed by Darius, Myles, and Mar was fantastic. Also when i let them know of a frustration i had with a delay in scheduling the jobs completion, they remediated the problem appropriately and promptly. 4 stars because its inconvenient how they have the call center set up. You call them then they reach out to the team and you have to wait for somebody to call you back. Its almost as if the call center is contracted out by a separate company.
