I don’t know what happened to the small end piece from my blinds. I went to Finishing Touch for a replacement. They ordered a replacement, it came in quickly, and they didn’t charge me. It’s nice dealing with a business where you’re valued.

The Finishing Touch is the best for personal service. I’ve worked with them for 30+ yrs. in Los Alamos with great satisfaction. Julio, Marcello, Janelle and their team took it to a new level. Whether the Los Alamos or Santa Fe store, they’re one team. They always go above and beyond to insure the customer is happy. I’m a perfectionist and they exceed my demands. That says it.

We did a complete kitchen renovation, down to the studs and Wendy, who now works out of the Los Alamos location, made it all happen. Cabinets, flooring, counters and coordinating with all the necessary crafts and contractors. Our kitchen turned out great in large part due to Wendy.

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while but hadn’t been able to get decent pictures. My wife and I went to The Finishing Touch two and a half years ago when we started to build our custom home. Lead times on cabinets were 10 months out and the box stores were at ridiculous price points. We decided to stop in at The Finishing Touch and got a consultation with Wendy. She was awesome and took care of us. We showed her some pictures of the style and colors we wanted and she got us the specs, finishing, and options we wanted at a reasonable price. Because of lumber constraints and resource issues due to covid, we were not able to make any changes to our cabinet finishes after we received our samples. When the cabinets were delivered to our construction site there were a few minor items on the distressing we didn’t get. The manufacturer pushed back on this issue and said it was an artistic impression of what our distressed options would look like and they would not be able to offer a discount. It was purely an aesthetic issue. Wendy and the Finishing Touch team stepped up and offered a work trade option for our back splash. We agreed on the trade. However, a lot of time passed between when we agreed on the trade and when we were able to order our back splash materials. We were afraid they may not honor the agreement since it had been a long time since we had spoke. The Finishing Touch honored the agreement and took care of us. Our kitchen is amazing and we get compliments on it whenever someone steps into our home. We are thankful for the Finishing Touch team and all the support they gave us through a complicated time. They are a local company and sub with local vendors and workers. Their craftsmanship is beautiful and top notch. If I ever built another home, The Finishing Touch would be one of the first vendors I would be visiting.
