We had a great experience hiring Leo and his team at NY Flooring Guys to sand and refinish the hardwood floors of a home we just purchased. First, they were very easy to communicate with. We needed the floors redone in the week between closing on the house and our furniture moving in. Leo was very accommodating of this tight window and got us slotted in early in the week so our floors would have sufficient time to cure before furniture was placed on them. During a holiday week, no less! Second, their pricing was comparable or competitive to others we received. After Leo looked at our floors he explained our options and sent us quotes for a couple different options so we could choose what worked for our budget and our timeline. Finally, the work itself was well done. His team arrived 15 mins early, promptly got their equipment set up, and got the place looking good in no time. They communicated throughout the process and let me check out their progress periodically. They actually finished our job early. There was one spot that at the end of the day I noticed hadn’t received the final layer (it was inside a closet) and Leo sent his guys back first thing the next morning to take care of it. The floors look lighter and much more natural, which is what we wanted (we opted for no stain), and they just make the house feel a little fresher for our move in. Altogether, I recommend NY Flooring Guys and would hire them again for any further work on these hardwood floors. They refinished our whole first floor; photo shows before and after of one of the bedrooms.

They pulled up the carpet and laminate floors in 3 rooms in my house, and did a great job on the hardwood floors. It looks like a new house now! Friendly and knowledgable staff.

Very nice guys came to my apartment look at the job give me an estimate told me why they needed to move to make their space for them to work and complete the job in one day. The price that they gave me was decent and then they let them go. I had with the project. The week later, they came very nice guys did the job. I will recommend anybody for this company.

After a disaster with other flooribg installers, I searched and came across NY flooring guys. I explained the issue and they came in within 24hrs to install the floors my grandmother wanted. They were extremely reasonable in price and weee clearly well versed. I trusted them and they got the job done before my nana returned from a trip. I’m very hard to please and they exceeded my expectations. Thanks Leo, Narine and the team for everything!
