I’m a realtor so I see a lot of busted up floors. Andrew can save them and repair them so they look almost brand new! When I bought my home, my inspector said I would likely have to replace my hardwoods because there wasn’t enough material to refinish. Think again! Andrew can refinish them at least two more times because he gives extra effort for old floors to do right by them. Highly recommend!

Andrew does amazing work!! He finished the doug fir floors in both my primary home and rental and they look incredible. He was very communicative throughout the process and took the time to understand what we wanted for each space. He sent plenty of progress photos as well, which was a nice touch. He’s a super friendly and generous person to boot!!

Andrew is the greatest. I am a new homeowner and totally clueless about everything, so navigating the process of hiring contractors has been… interesting. Many surly individuals! Finding Andrew was a blessing – a wholesome, kindhearted person who did a DAMN GOOD JOB on my floors!! Mixed red/white oak floors in our 1954 house were pretty dented and scratched up, looked pretty grody. Andrew completely transformed them, feels like I’m walking on a work of art. People come into our house and say “wow, I love your floors”! Couldn’t be happier with our choice to work with Andrew. HIGHLY recommended.

We have had Andrew of Modern Tech Floors out twice now to do some work on an old 1930’s house. First time was for the ground level wood floors and the second time was for a small flight of stairs to the back door that needed some love. Both times, he did a great job of explaining the process and keeping us informed during the job. And WOW, The work he did was amazing and transformed the house. He has a really good eye for details and the little touches that really bring things together. All of this on top of the already very solid craft. Photos are of the recent work he did on the stairs.

If I could give more stars than 5 stars I would! Andrew refinished 1200sq ft of hardwoods in our home (Brazilian cherry) and they look better now than when they were originally installed. Andrew is clearly excellent at his craft. Beyond that, he was very communicative, reasonably priced, left our house clean and loved our dogs. I would recommend him highly.

Andrew did such an amazing job refinishing my 1910 stairs (treads and risers). His work exceeded my expectations and he left my space cleaner than it started. Very fair prices for extraordinary work

Andrew did an amazing job on our 1930s home (face nailed white oak and mahogany). We have worked with many (all?) craftsmen during a recent renovation and Andrew is one of the best. The floors were heavily worn and damaged . Andrew made seamless repairs and era appropriate refinishing that made our floors look like well tended antiques. He communicated well, beat his time line and stayed on budget. His pricing was competitive. This was a big job and I was concerned that it needed multiple workers; however, he easily managed and every detail was perfect.
