Before moving into our house, we decided it would be a good idea to have the floors refinished. With so many companies out there it was hard to pick. I called this company and had a really informative conversation with Leon. Leon nerded on all things wood floor related, and proved his knowledge of the trade. We had contacted many companies, but being able to talk with Leon sealed the deal. He was able to fit us in on short notice, completed an estimate quickly, show us color options and kept us informed during the entire process. The floors looked amazing, we couldn’t be happier we choose this company!

Leon guided us with professionals advice on refinishing our hardwood floors. They were faded, stained, and scratched. Leon & team did a phenomenal job refinishing our 1950s red oak floors! During the bidding process, Leon stood out as being very knowledgeable and passionate about wood flooring. This is the kind of person you want to take care of your floors! The team refinished an area of approximately 400 square feet with some areas having previous water damage. Leon replaced boards in an area that was obviously patched at some point, but the previous job was not good. We discovered the patch was covering the home’s original crawl space. Leon made that area look seamless as if it was never patched. I highly recommend Hardwood Flooring PDX!

We had Leon and his crew install and finish some hardwood flooring throughout our upper level back in January. To say he did a good job is an understatement. We are BEYOND thrilled with how it turned out! Leon and his small team were precise and professional – the sort of people we were very comfortable to have working in our house when we weren’t there. Aside from doing a nice square and squeak-free install, which they certainly did, their attention to detail was impressive. We provided them with some rather unique and heavily variegated material – so, not the most straightforward job – and I appreciated how many questions Leon asked about our aesthetic preferences going into it. I talked to a lot of flooring contractors when shopping around for this project, and none of them spoke with me in such detail about the process as Leon did on our very first call. The fact that he was also one of our most affordable bids was just the icing on the cake. He did a better job than anyone else could have for twice the price. We will never go to anyone else for our flooring needs as long as we are in the Portland area. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

Leon was on time each day, stayed on schedule, and was informative about the process along the way. The refinished 100+ year old floors look better than expected. I Would work with this company again.

We agreed on a specific time, date and place for an estimate on replacing around 550 sqft. I even have to leave work early in order to accommodate them. Not only they did not show up but then ghosted me when I tried to reach them via text and phone.

Leon was exceptional to work with, showed up on time, and was able to fit us in his schedule quickly. Helped to resurface and refinish floors in our entire home on schedule and on budget. I really did not think the condition of the floor could be improved based on previous owners but it turned out spectacularly! Thank you, Leon and Hardwood Flooring PDX!

Leon is amazing to work with. Very responsive and truly cares. Leon refinished our floors during all the fire issues in Clackamas County and he didn’t miss a beat. His work and service is second to none and I would strongly recommend. You can’t go wrong with Leon and his company.

My wife and I just purchased our first home. We pulled up the carpets, removed the tack strips, and needed a gap patched and the floors refinished. We called Leon, and he showed up literally the same day to get the ball rolling. Leon kept us informed throughout the entire process. We got an estimate on a Monday, and our floors were done on Wednesday evening! I think we had perfect circumstances for the kind of speed, but I was and am thoroughly impressed. It’s been a couple of weeks since the floors were completed, and they look fantastic. The floors are stunning, the patch is gorgeous and seamless, and the price was fair. Thanks to Leon and crew, we were able to move in sooner than we expected! Highly recommend!
