Syphard Construction was recommended to us and so glad we worked with them on some water damage to our downstairs powder bathroom. We had a new toilet installed and installation of new laminate flooring and we love the results. They were always available to answer any questions and were so knowledgeable along the way while being flexible with our schedule. I would highly recommend Syphard Construction and would work with them again in the future.

I highly recommend using Syphard Construction. After our condo sustained significant water damage from a pipe breaking, we were lucky enough to happen upon Brian Syphard, who actually became more like a partner in our remodel than a contractor. He was always accessible, honest, realistic about timeframe for the work, and provided excellent advice and guidance. His project manager Roger was incredible and went above and beyond for my family. They replaced all flooring, stair treads, much of the dry wall, and facilitated whole house repaint. Workmanship was great and they were committed to making sure we were satisfied. All around great experience during a stressful time. Our place looks amazing!

I hired Syphard Construction to coordinate repairs on my home after a toilet supply line had leaked. Brian Syphard gave me a realistic timeframe for how long it would take for the work to be done. This is important because he did not sugarcoat the fact that I would be out of the home for 7 weeks once the work got underway. In fact, Brian and Roger (the project manager) were very forthright and clear about what was going on and how long it would take and whether or not it could even be done. For example, there were some light fixtures I wanted to switch out but Roger told me the ones I wanted were unsuitable due to the configuration of the existing wiring. He saved me money and time (and unrealistic expectations). Roger also gave me good guidance in selecting replacement flooring/etc. — things I would never have thought of on my own. He didn’t try to influence me, he just wanted me to have all the information. Roger made sure that the subcontractor work was being performed at an acceptable level. Due to COVID we did have some issues with subcontractor performance/staff, but both Brian and Roger did not try to shirk the issue and made sure all issues were addressed in a timely manner. In fact — and this is important — I never had to wait more than a few hours for a call back from Roger and usually it was within 15 minutes. I’ve heard lots of horror stories from others that contractors don’t respond. This is not the case with Syphard. The other thing I want to point out is that their warranty on workmanship is a generous 5-years and they don’t disappear once you pay the bill. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the subcontractor issues which caused me some extra stress I really didn’t need. But Brian and his team are awesome and I would use them again without hesitation.
