FloorMax Review, Germantown Maryland Sales Location and Work. Pre-Work/Salesmanship: Eddie who works at the Germantown MD FloorMax location was fantastic. He fully advised us about the hardwood (oak) floors we were considering including the molding and the interfaces to other rooms. He showed us comparable woods and spent time explaining the interface to the next rooms. He also provided excellent advice on LVP for our kitchen as well as sanding-refurbishing steps. (BTW- if you need a refurbishing job, this is ALSO the place to go– they do more than sell flooring.) Eddie is humorous and serves customers well. I could tell from the start that we were dealing with a guy who knows flooring and how to serve customers. The Work: The three crews (one for hardwood, one for sanding and one for LVP) were quite professional and courteous. The workmanship of each was really good leaving no detail out including answering questions about the interfaces to each room, explaining the installation process etc. The work was excellent and the clean-up was well done. Post: The crews ensured we were happy before they left. Eddie’s follow-up was good. The invoicing was easy, payment was easy etc. Overall: I would recommend FloorMax Germantown for your flooring needs. We had a three part job that went without a hitch. Eddie will take care of your needs and the workmanship is excellent.

Had a great experience getting our basement floors done. The process was seamless, good price, and the installation was on time. We appreciated the good communication from Eddie, and fast service. The floors look amazing and we wish we would’ve done it sooner. Would recommend Floormax and we will work with them again.

Our salesman, Paul Shrimpton, as well as the installation crew were great to work with. In our basement, we redid the entire floor, including closets and stairs, with LVP. The crew had exceptional attention to detail, even in the closets, and did a beautiful job making all the transitions look neat and professional. I love it! We also had them replace carpeting in three bedrooms, and they did an excellent job. The crew leader was careful to discuss any concerns and point out any prior damage so we wouldn’t have any questions once the job was done, which I thought was both considerate and professional. They cleaned up thoroughly, and were friendly as well. Highly recommended!

I went to Floormax and got new floors last summer, and 6 months later I still love them! I had an idea of what I thought I wanted, but Eddie steered me in a different (and lower cost) direction based on our discussion. He also helped me put together a design for a custom railing on the staircase. The install team was fast and efficient, and talked me through the whole process. I would highly recommend!

Eddie did a fantastic job and a great representative from FLOORMAX in Germantown. MD. This is the second job I had Eddie manage. The first job was for my 4-bedroom house in Germantown where he installed a beautiful hardwood floor for my second floor. The work was of the highest craftsmanship and has held up great over the past four years. When I needed a new kitchen floor for my investment property in Baltimore I called Eddie. While it was a long drive for the crew, they agreed to do the job. The tile looks great! I was sold a high-quality tile at a fair price. The workers were excellent and hardworking and very perceptive. The workers notice that my subfloor had problems and flagged it for me so I could have a carpenter come in and replace the joists and subfloor. Even though the crew had to leave and come back in a week they had a great attitude and did not charge me extra for having to return to my house another time. I would HIGHLY recommend Floormax and Eddie to anyone that needs a new floor. Best, Bruce

I had a poor experience with a salesperson, the VP of the company went out of his way to personally correct the issue. I would look at this company for future jobs.
