I recently had the pleasure of working with David, his son, and his partner from David Garrett Floor Covering, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I spoke with David, his patience, confidence in his work, work ethic, pricing, and extensive job knowledge made it clear that I didn’t need to look any further. David has strong relationships with suppliers all around the area, which made for an incredibly smooth flooring installation process in our new home. Despite a tight deadline and a moving start date, David went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I were 100% satisfied. He is honest, reliable, and always delivers on his promises. After almost a month of planning our flooring install with another company, the whole thing went completely south 7 days before we were to move in. We emailed everyone we knew to try and find a (1) solid installer and (2) that was available as the move-in date wasn’t negotiable and we owned the flooring. David was referred to us by a dear friend. When I reached out, their team technically wasn’t available, but he was clear on what a huge pickle we were in and said give me a couple of hours and let me get back to you. I told him we were willing to pay emergency service pricing since clearly we were pulling him off of established jobs and it had to get done. Dave called back after thoughtfully reaching out to his current jobs and agreed to do it. They showed up early, in the pouring rain, and would have worked the weekend if it had been necessary…. I can’t say enough good things about them! 100% integrity, courteous, skilled, and efficient team (10 hours to do 1,100 sq ft office!), and the crew were wonderful to work with, conscientious about the space, on top of cleaning up as they went, and worked easily around other contractors in the space. We cannot THANK YOU enough! They are now our absolute go-to for our wood flooring needs!

If you want your floors done right go with David. He’s the best. It’s hard to find this kinda quality. Everything was easy and went exactly how he said it would. I’ve had my whole house done by him and wouldn’t consider anyone else.

If you ever need flooring repaired, call DAVE GARRETT FLOOR COVERING! I recently needed a floor repair in my kitchen. Even though very busy, Dave squeezed me in. He explained the repair could be expensive. But, that he’d try something different to get at the problem. He then personally worked on the problem piece for quite awhile. And the floor looks great! Dave wants to help the customer, not gouge. A rare commodity today. I highly recommend DAVE GARRETT FLOOR COVERING. I’m so glad I called Dave. You will be, too.

I have been in the Construction Industry for over thirty years as a registered Architect and a Construction Manager. Dave and his crew are simply the best flooring contractors that I have worked with. What sets them apart is that they care about your project including all of the many details that always slip through the cracks. If you are looking for a contractor who strives to do the job right and takes pride in their work then hire these guys as quickly as possible. Dave and his teams are a diamond in the SW Florida sand.
