The owner Alex asked me why the drywall was purple. He didn’t know that it was moisture resistant drywall, and also didn’t know it was code for around sinks. All us employees would laugh at his slogan “custom done right” cause nearly nothing was done the way it was supposed to be

Avoid this business if possible, had a full consultation and meeting with Alex. Spent time and money getting this accomplished. His personal issues and such led to him delaying his quote. I reached out multiple times and was met with maybes and excuses. The end result is no work accomplished and me out weeks of time and effort, please consider alternate contractors.

Alex and his team did a great job adding a second floor addition to my house. This bedroom/bathroom was built over the master bedroom that is on the first floor. He started on time and people showed up consistently until the job was completed. He was flexible and professional and made sure the job was done correctly. I really appreciate his attention to detail and I’ll be calling him again for my next significant home renovation project.

Alex was INCREDIBLE to work with. He did a complete gut and renovation of a full bathroom in my home and honestly it’s the best room in the whole house. From start to finish, he’s professional, prepared, communicative, and very knowledgeable. His crew was incredibly professional and clean, very cognizant that they were in someone’s home. They cleaned up EVERY SINGLE DAY after work, looked out for my dogs that were left at home, and were just generally kind, good people. The workmanship was incredible and I am so pleased with the end result. I would highly recommend A.G. Stokes for any of your projects. The price point is appropriate for the quality and workmanship you’ll get on any project.

Alex was by far the best contractor I’ve had working for me! He was prompt, polite and really knew what he was doing. I won’t be using anyone else for my remodeling needs in the future except him! I’ve been in the business and let me tell you it is hard to find people with the level of knowledge and professionalism that Alex brings to the table.
