I reached out to Patrick to get a quote on refinishing some flooring I had in my new home. We didn’t end up working together (he was very reasonable, I just had my own financial issue come up on my end) but I feel compelled to write a review because of Patrick’s professionalism, patience, and understanding with me during the initial process. He was very thorough and clear, and evidently holds himself to a high professional standard. He also was just a nice guy to talk to. I look forward to working with him in the future!

Patrick and his crew did an absolutely phenomenal job installing all new red oak floors in the second story of my home, along with completely renovating and restoring the main staircase. Our dining room and staircase were the only two areas with original flooring; Patrick was able to match the hardwood and stain perfectly to create a seamless finish throughout the entire house. At the outset of the project, the main staircase, railings, treads, and banisters had been painted black; Patrick laid out a new plan to remove the existing staircase, expect for the risers, treads, and landings. In their place he installed new IBC compliant railings, spindles, and bannisters in matching red oak; this not only updated the home, but added a layer of safety for our family. I cannot adequately compliment Patrick’s crews enough; they did an absolutely superb job in laying the floor, and working around some challenging corners throughout the bedroom. One area in particular where his workers went above and beyond was in the primary bedroom closet. In the closet there is a spiral staircase which is bolted into the subfloor, the three bolts holding the base of the stairs into the floor extend up approximately 1/4″ – 1/2″; his workers covered the bolts, and blended the corners by removing small sections of the backing so the new flooring slid into place, making for a clean and seamless finish. If you are looking for skilled passionate artisans, an eye for detail, and pride in the finished product, Plus Hardwood Flooring is the company for you!
