Joe his crew was absolutely FANTASTIC! He did such an incredible job matching the old hardwood perfectly and was so nice and a great pleasure to work with. I wouldn’t want to have anybody else put in our hardwood! Our 4 bedrooms now look so great!

Joe and his team did a fabulous job on sanding and refinishing my 80-year-old hardwood floors. They brought them back to life and gave me such a beautiful foundation to make my new home. Joe and his team were great to work with; it’s obvious how much he cares about his work. We initially called him in to repair some damage on our wood floor due to a water leak, but they did such a good job repairing and refinishing the floors in our kitchen and family room that we asked them to come back and re-sand, re-stain, and re-finish the rest of the ground floor! I had been pretty worried about the mess and the smell (I’d had floors refinished in other houses and was cleaning up the dust for days), but they used some new sanding machine that contained almost all the dust; in fact, all the plastic they put up to protect my furniture and cabinetry almost seemed like a waste. Only the stain was stinky, and that was covered in a few hours with the finish, which put an end to the smell. All in all, we’re very happy with the results. As soon as I can get my head around moving a bunch of furniture again, I’ll call them back to do the top floor. 😊 Highly recommend.

We learned about Joe and his company based on his amazing reviews and photos of his completed projects. After meeting with him and listening to his approach to our job, I wanted to post a note of appreciation for his professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for us and our floors. Joe visited our home yesterday (the evening before the Thanksgiving holiday) to assess an area of water damaged hardwood floors, caused by an appliance leak. He was systematic and thorough in both his evaluation of the floor as well as his explanations to us. I can’t emphasize this enough—in a field in which so many contractors are in a rush, he was methodical, had a plan, and listened to our every question and concern. It was clear he takes great pride in his work and in advocating for his customers. What also impressed me was the extent of his technical acumen in understanding the characteristics of our wood floors down to the fine details, and in his plan to remediate the damage. And at our request, he was able to give us some options for different levels of scale of the job. He was such a great listener and so generous with his time and insights. And his written estimate was equally thorough and detailed, rather than vague or incomplete. For me, it’s an example of how I wish more contractors approached their customers in need.

Joe Robins and his brother did an amazing job fixing a hot mess caused by some painters. I had just closed on a home and hired some painters to touch up the walls before moving in. Unfortunately for me, the company ruined my hard woods floors by using tape that peeled up the finish. I researched companies and made several calls based on reviews over Labor Day weekend. To my happy surprise, Joe took my call and scheduled to come out right away to help me. They started my floors Tuesday and finished by Friday. They look incredible and brand new! I was given good advice as to the color choice, cleaning and how to care for them long term. They were incredibly personable and took the time to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend this company. I would use their services again in a heartbeat. My floors, given the unfortunate disaster of the painters, turned out better than I could have ever expected. Thank you so much for helping a lady in distress!

Joe Robbins and his team expertly repaired and refinished my oak floors, rebuilt an entry staircase, and installed curved oak molding. Joe’s team are all craftsmen who invested the hours needed to create an exceptional floor. My wood floor and staircase were tricky, required detail handiwork, and Joe’s team delivered – they created a floor of superb quality. It was a very difficult job and yet their skill and artistry enabled them to install a gorgeous floor for which I am very grateful.
