Warning. Make sure you take or have “before” pictures of all floors and walls on the same level as the flooring people will be working. There was some wood floor damage in another room from where a new LVT floor was being laid. Since I didn’t have pictures of the floor they didn’t believe it could possibly come from their flooring team. The flooring team also didn’t cut a big enough hole around a toilet valve that it now can only turn a quarter of a turn. This is apparently acceptable work as I received no response from the company when I brought this to their attention. Also, the toilet valve, besides not being able to turn freely and to a position of normal water flow to the toilet, it is now leaking if it is turned to the maximum open position possible. Their response is that this couldn’t possibly be from their flooring team because their prior good record. They are very good at denying responsibility and blaming other contractors on issues. But in my case their was no other contractors working in the half bathroom. I would also recommend not scheduling work during the summer if possible, as you may get a team of one experienced adult with apparently 2 college aged and 2 high school aged workers as I did.

I worked with Gavin and his team at Canal Flooring outlet on carpeting for our family home. This past week they did carpeting in 4 rooms. My needs were unreasonable — they had like a 10 day window to get it all done — but they exceeded my expectations every step of the way! For starters, Gavin was brilliant in figuring everything out. The plans and estimates were spot on, which paved the way for a successful installation. Their install crew did all of the installation for me and the people were GREAT! From helping schedule this, they bent over backwards to make things happen, and even proactively phoned me to avoid issues. The workers who came were great, and did a fantastic job, truly! A special shout out to the install people..they quickly and professionally addressed a unforeseen subfloor repair that was discovered upon old flooring removal. I could not be happier with my decision to use Canal flooring outlet… I am now looking to work with them on renovations to my other properties. Amazing!!!! Sales team took time to show us everything we wanted and never pushed anything on us. The owner even came out to ensure we were finding and getting all the information we needed. Very quick service and turn around time to setup installation. The team that came to install the flooring was hands down the kindest and FASTEST team ever. The owner personally came out to ensure the install was going as planned and that we were happy. The BEST experience we could ask for from start to finish. If you need floors go here without any question.

Greg came to my home he was very professional & knowledgeable in assisting us to pick out the perfect floor for our space & needs, Scheduling was quick and his installation team were On time and did a awesome job.
