In the past month or two I have had the joy of doing business with Etowah Flooring. This is actually the third time they have taken care of my hardwood floors. And even though I hope I won’t have to “need” them again, I would choose them over and over again! The first person I had contact with, all three times, was Andrew Willingham. I don’t have enough words to describe the help he was to me navigating the insurance company. I had need to reach out to him NUMEROUS times and he always answered all my calls and texts, even after hours. He helped to lead me through choosing the correct hardwood that matched my existing floors. This time the water damage not only affected the main floor but destroyed the carpet in the basement. Andrew painstakingly guided me through the process of upgrading to LVP downstairs and I am SO happy with it! John Hemphill oversaw the whole operation once we got it going. He too was always available to answer my questions and whatever needed extra attention, he was the man! He went above and beyond what his job was to help me install a new louvre door in my foyer closet. What a gentleman! He wanted to be there when my new appiances were delivered to be sure no damage was done to my beautiful new floor but the appliances showed up early and sure enough they scratched the floor slightly. He is in the process even now of getting the stain to touch up those two spots. The men who actually put down the new flooring were from Portugal and did not speak English fluently nor did I speak Portuguese. But they were so kind and efficient that I looked up a few Portuguese words to let them know how happy I was with their work….belo, excelente!!! And finally there was Nic Dobra. He was also with the company two years ago so we were able to rekindle a friendship. He was the last one on the job who came in to paint ALL the baseboards upstairs and down. As he painted those I painted my pantry and trim around the windows. Our painting jobs finally converged near the front door where we had such wonderful conversations and pretty much solved all the world’s problems! As happy as I was to finally move back in and have all my furniture back in place I was sad that “my new best friends” would move on to someone else’s home. Let me just finish by saying I HIGHLY recommend this company, these men, to do the job!

I get the impression that this company panders to insurance companies who use them as a preferred vendor/consultant. State Farm sent Etowah Flooring out to quote our wire brushed heart pine flooring, and Etowah’s estimator used some pretty aggressive language to indicate we don’t have hand distressed flooring. State Farm used his statements to retroactively deny part of our claim that they had previously approved because everyone could see the floors were a specialty finish as opposed to being sanded flat. We had 3 estimates already indicating they are hand distressed, so it is “puzzling” why the only company saying we are making a false claim is State Farm’s “pet” on the project. When I called the store, the manager instantly took the estimator’s side. People screw up, and those are the situations where integrity can shine. What I see is a company that got defensive over a clear oversight on their part, and I certainly would not trust them to do work in my home at this point with the way they handled such a clear error. I’m very disappointed in this local company.

We had a fantastic experience with this company. The workmanship of the installers was flawless, but most impressive was Andrew, who was more like a GC for our entire project, helping us not only with flooring choice and install process, but also connecting us with contacts for furniture storage, cleaning service and coordinating everything directly with our insurance company. Would highly recommend!

We wanted to get new flooring installed throughout our home as well as tile our bathrooms. Mark was very easy to talk to which made the sales process go smoothly. He listened to what we were wanting to do and made some outstanding suggestions. This was a big project and the installation team was outstanding as well. You never know what is going to happen in a “ construction” project, I have to say I would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you so much Etowah Flooring Team for all you did. We enjoyed working with each and every one of you.

Etowah just installed new LVP flooring at our house on a lake. We have lots of traffic in and out and the old carpet had taken a beating. Andrew and the Etowah Flooring Team were very helpful with finding the same LVP pattern (that had been discontinued), which we used on the lower floor in 2020 when we had water damage. Francisco and his guys did a fantastic job with installation. They were on time, worked quickly and efficiently, moved all the heavy furniture, cleaned up as they went and left us with no problems. We greatly appreciate the customer service they exhibited in a world that seems to have forgotten that aspect. We highly recommend the Etowah Flooring Carpet One Team in Canton, GA.
