Ken, and his products, are amazing! We’ve had our 6-1/4″ Red Oak Flooring down for just over a year, now. Am amazed by the beauty of this product every morning when I walk out and see the sun shining on it. This is waaay better than what any Brick and Mortar store offered at the same price, or higher. Our installer was impressed as well. He initially gave us a price for 3 days to install. After the first day he said he’d be done the next day. And adjusted his install price a little for that. He said it was because of the quality of the product. Not fighting warped boards and lots of longer pieces. THANK YOU Ken!

After much research and discussion with Ken, we ordered Red Oak Reserve for a large expanse of great room/dining room combination. Like others, my husband and I had a bit of trepidation ordering online. I will say that EVERYTHING that Ken told us was exactly the way it came: price, shipping, timeline. And the engineered flooring is stunning! Our experience with Ken was first rate and we recommend Uptown Floors without hesitation.

Our floors are beautiful. I think my photos are a little misleading with the actual color and they look better in person. We got Rustic Charm Sand Drift clear and it was exactly what I wanted. Light, clean, modern. Ken was responsive and helped me understand what I wanted out of all the choices. One piece of advice for delivery, make sure you have at least 3 strong people to help unload the truck. We had the help of 2 contractors and my husband. I thought I’d be able to help, but it was too heavy for me.

We love the quality of the flooring! We purchased ~ 1400 sq ft the Red Oak Reserve in a clear finish and it looks great. Our installer who has been doing floors for 30+ years also commented how good the finish was and also the length of the pieces – not may shorts and plenty of good long pieces. We’re very happy how it came out and would definitely recommend their flooring.

I found Uptown Floors on the Houzz website and did a lot of research on the company. My builder was hesitant to order our flooring from an online vendor but I was persistent. Best decision ever! The engineered hickory flooring we ordered is the best thing about our new home. They are absolutely beautiful. I shopped the local flooring stores and could not find anything comparable. Ken Fisher was amazing to work with. We are incredibly happy with the quality of the floors. Don’t hesitate to order your flooring from Ken Fisher and Uptown Floors, you won’t be disappointed. Building a new home has a lot of issues but the hardwood floors was the one thing I can honestly say went well and we are glad we purchased our floors from Ken Fisher. Beyond happy.

We worked with Ken to find the perfect color hardwood floors for our renovation (1400sf). We selected a custom color since I wanted a warm grayish/brown tone. He sent us samples of different boards with and without character and some with the knots filled and some without. This was really valuable for us in selecting the exact look we wanted. The floorboards are such remarkable quality. We had several installers ask where we got the floors from because they were amazed by the high quality. We installed the floors ourselves and were so please at how precise each board was. The finish is so beautiful and has held up incredibly well. We do not have pets but many visitors do not remove their shoes and I’ve dropped things but there is no evidence of scratches or indentations. The finish has a satin look which I really love. I cannot express enough how strongly I would recommend these floors to anyone considering hardwood flooring! Plus Ken is amazing to work with and was so very helpful throughout the process. We purchased 825 sq. ft. of Uptown Floor’s Rusty Charm Rocky Road engineered hardwood flooring. All of the carpeting in the house was replaced with this wood. Ken was very helpful in the purchase process and answered all of my questions and concerns. I chose the clear white oak lightly brushed finish. The installers complimented the quality of the engineered hardwood when they finished on the last day. My wife and I could not be happier with the floor – it is beautiful. We are recommending Uptown Floors to our friends and neighbors.

Excellent product my installation Of 1,400 sf went Like clockwork. I’ve installed lots of hardwood flooring and the product went together very well. We went with a natural finish, some boards had gray streaks likely due to the time the tree fell to when it was milled, but they worked fine for the closets. We also have radiant floor heating throughout. Good customer service and kept to the schedule we agreed on. I would strongly suggest being there for the delivery as the driver was more than willing to just dump the boxes 10’ off the road and drive down the road !! I have an F150 I used as a shuttle and placed the boxes in the garage about 300’ off the road in about three trips. Overall we are very happy with the floors, I’m anxious to see the stability once we turn on the radiant floor heating system.

Purchased hickory Spring Meadow from Ken @ Uptown Floors recently. Ken was extremely helpful; making sure correct amount of flooring was order, ensuring that I had correct treads and risers for the steps, etc. I was a little unsure about ordering flooring online given the cost and not able to see the quality of wood/milling before hand but speaking with Ken and reading the reviews about his company I went and purchased 1300 sq. of flooring. Took about 8 weeks to arrive. During installation of flooring my installer mentioned he was very impressed with the quality of the flooring. He stated the milling was excellent, planks were square, none were warped and installation was a breeze.

Ken at Uptown Floors is AMAZING! I was searching for an ash, unfinished engineered flooring to match my current flooring. I contacted Uptown Floors via email and Ken called me back promptly. Ken was so extremely helpful and knowledgable. He told me the name of my flooring and the manufacturer after just seeing a picture. This flooring was made like 10 years ago so for someone to have that knowledge and recall was astounding!! He not only referred me to the manufacturer but gave me their number! It was not a product he sold so he did not have to do that. He could have tried to sell me something he carried but didn’t!! He sent me to the place that had the product I needed. A business that truly looks out for a customers needs first is hard to come by these days but Ken at Uptown did just that. I just can’t rave enough about the depth of knowledge and the sincere care I received at Uptown Flooring. You will be in good hands with this business and ken!!!
