I recently moved to Bellingham and bought a house that had a variety of cheap, old, gross flooring throughout. Based on word of mouth, I went with Fairhaven Floors and could not be happier! They came in on budget, accommodated our schedule, and addressed surprises quickly as they arose. The communication start to finish was impeccable and the house looks amazing. I’m still shocked they did so much work so quickly.

We had a wonderful experience with Fairhaven Floors from start to finish! We needed our old wood floors restored and these guys did beautiful work and finished the job quickly as well. Mike was very communicative, responsive and helpful. Everything was clearly explained to us from the get go, which was so refreshing. The whole crew was friendly and kind. Five years later, we needed help refinishing a small part of the floor where we had taken out a wall heater, and Mike came right over to help us figure out which color of sealer/finish we needed and helped us acquire some. I would 10/10 recommend giving them a call and trusting them to take care of the floors in your home!

From the initial visit to the finished product, everything went great. These guys are knowledgeable and care about what they’re doing. They took a janky pre-finished install and sanded/re-stained/refinished it to something we love. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fairhaven Floors, and will call on them again in the future.

We’ve used Mike & his team on several projects. Knowledgeable, reliable and very professional. I’m especially impressed when they have to stitch floors together joining new flooring and old flooring. Stain and finishing matches are also beautiful. Old world craftsmanship at it’s best.

We recently replaced laminate and carpet in our house with pre-finished maple hardwood and tile. Fairhaven Floors was recommended by a friend of ours for the hardwood. They exceeded our expectations from start to finish. They worked with us to choose the flooring, decide which areas we wanted to replace (multiple quotes involved!), and consider what other work would need to be done to make the floors look amazing (e.g. refinish the skirt boards along the stairway). They communicated with us throughout the project and dovetailed their work with the tile installation that was happening at the same time. They were neat and respectful of our space (we were living downstairs during the project) and they finished on time. The care they took in installing the floors was remarkable and the final product reflects a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Our new floors are gorgeous. Finally, these guys were so fun to work with. Friendly, interesting, relaxed, and a real joy to have around our house. Can’t recommend them enough!

Our neighbors recommended Fairhaven floors to us and they have fully exceeded our expectations. Mike was very helpful in explaining and pricing out various options. We also found them to be quite affordable. Jessie and Jason did a fantastic job on the refinishing. Our floors were very old and sad and now they look beautiful! I am so glad we chose to refinish rather than replace! Everyone was super friendly and we highly recommend.

We would recommend Fairhaven Flooring for hardwood floors. Mike is very professional. He was easy to communicate with and very knowledgable. Upon completion, we gained several rooms with beautiful bamboo floors.

Being new to the area we researched floor remodel companies and Fairhaven Flooring came highly recommended. The existing floors in our new house were in poor shape, lots of scratches, miss-matched flooring, etc. Fairhaven did an excellent job matching the existing flooring in the den, sanding down and refinishing all the other hardwood floors throughout the house, removing the dated yellow color and giving the house a fresh new look. We are very happy with the service, cost, and timeframe during which the job was completed, and would definitely recommend this company for your flooring needs.

We had a great experience working with Mike and Jessie and their team to install new vinyl floors and refinish our hardwood floors. They adapted well to the schedule in between our bathroom and kitchen remodel and did a wonderful job with great attention to every detail. Definitely recommend them for any flooring install / refinishing jobs – Our place looks amazing now – we are so so pleased .😬
