If you’re looking for a place to get custom work done – stop looking! You found it. Fred is awesome, and knows his stuff. I am giving a pistol as a retirement gift, so I wanted it engraved and coated. He’s an FFL, so I was able to order it and have it sent directly to him. Then he and I had conversation about what I wanted. After listening, Fred asked “would you be interested in something really cool?” The answer to that question ladles and gentlemen is, “Yes!” I thought I wanted a black slide with gold engraving. What Fred recommended was a battle worn gold, which makes the engraving look even cooler. This is now my second project with Fred & his guys, and I’m sure I’ll be back. Crossroads Hydrographics the best around, and veteran-owned.

“Over-all 75 % satisfied.” I spoke with Frank a couple of times and he assured me that he would resolved what ever issues I may have had. That being said , I would’ve like the ported slide wholes tungsten (per our initial discussion) I also would’ve liked black on the hand grip, also per our agreement. Lastly and the most important issue: The scar that was put on my frame to access the slide release. I know how hard it is to remove the pin, I do but, “I feel you should have discussed this with me first. ( Put yourself in my shoes) I changed the stock trigger without causing any damage to the frame. A little damage to the button on the slide though( Heyy, I’m not a professional) .Anyway,,I wanted to give “A 5 star rating” and I wish I could have but , I’m pretty sure nothing can be done about the damage done to my frame. Ohh, and the magwell (no cerekote like you said Frank. Aside from those issues,the weapon still looks GOOD!! So Thank you, thank you really! Other than the above mentioned issues, It still looks good, to me.
