Mateo and his crew recently completed a door install, trim install and baseboard install and additionally painted it all. They did a fantastic job and were very professional, on time and on budget. We have used him many times in the past for remodeling, exterior painting and more. Mateo and crew painted some trim work on our house this summer and did such an amazing job we hired them to pressure wash and stain the fencing for our entire HOA (Sierra Hills in Bothell). They completed the job ahead of schedule and stayed in communication throughout the project. Several other homeowners were equally as pleased as we were and hired Mateo for separate house projects as well. We would definitely recommend Mateo and crew, they do excellent work, on time and at a reasonable rate. Thank you Mateo and Crew! -Barry

I would hire Mateo in a heartbeat and I stand behind his work. We are very happy with the results and the process. The jobs he did were DONE WELL and our house was sold in one week. We couldn’t have made our deadline to put up the house for sale without him. My criteria for hiring contractor is the following: • Competence • Trustworthiness • Reliability • Bonus – if they are friendly I hired him to paint the exterior of a 3500 square foot house and to replace the deck posts and beams on a 600 square foot deck, two story deck. His employee painted the house beautifully with no overspray. The paint job was nice like it should be and increased the appeal of the house. Regarding the deck, I got to observe how they made the support posts plumb and level. The magic was seeing him Mateo and his assistant install the 6″x10″ 21 ft beam. My father and I were building the rest of the deck and he was so kind as to give up pointers. Mateo and his assistant were COMPETENT in their skills and reliable. They showed up ON-TIME and finished ON SCHEDULE, which is pretty rare in my experience. Mateo is a respectful, generous, nice person. He took the time to chat with my father and I to give us tricks of the trade. For the contract industry, taking unpaid time to talk to the client after the job is sold is not the norm in my experience. I appreciate people who take pride in their work and are respectful to me and my parents. I have run into vendors who give me no respect as a youngish, petite woman and they only will talk to my father. I did get 4 quotes and I felt like they were taking advantage of my lack of knowledge as a young woman. When I am looking for a contractor, respect for me is not in the main criteria, but I certainly appreciate it. Mateo is local and works hard for his keep. I hope he will be rewarded for his work and kindness. Gold star!

Mateo has done outstanding jobs for us from from painting to major deck repair over 4 years This includes 1. While painting he found out deck support beams were perilously rotted and there was danger of a very large deck coming down. He came up with an ingenious solution using metal rods and new beams that saved us a ton of money and in consultation with an engineer who certified the repair (this was a large job). 2. Did a wonderful job painting our house 3. Built a new pathway for our garden He and his crew are excellent, honest, and just the nicest people one comes across. His rates are competitive and he stands by his work and rectifies any issues that arise. You can sense the family nature of his team as they laugh, have fun and are generally the same team.
