This review is by my sister Karen whose home repainting project I was an integral part of. Everything she says, I agree! From Karen: I highly recommend Jim Dorsey and his excellent painting crew to paint your house! Not only did he come in with one of the most reasonable quotes, out of several solicited, he came with patience and the ease that comes with years of experience in the painting field. There is a skill set to painting and not everyone has the eye for paint colors and the pride of work in the painting world. Jimmy, Alex, and Matt were professional, methodical, kind, respectful, and played good music while they worked. It wasn’t an easy job with high ceilings, lots of trim work, and hardwood floors to negotiate, but they were great. Did I say reliable, on time, and pleasant? All of the above, and I’m thrilled with how my home looks. You won’t go wrong with Jim Dorsey’s team.

We wholeheartedly recommend Jimmy for anyone needing house painting work. We hired him to paint nearly the entire house on inside, including walls, ceilings, cabinets, and restaining our back enclosed porch, including the pitched roof over the porch and the railings. Jimmy did a phenomenal job on everything. Our whole house looks brand new. He’s professional, honest, diligent, and fairly priced.

I am so happy that we chose Jim Dorsey to paint our old, grainy oak kitchen cabinets (I really wish we had made that decision earlier) – they far exceeded my expectations and completely freshened up and brightened our entire first floor with this one change. To start, he was fair priced and helpful in assisting us choose the right color for the cabinets. But what I appreciated the most was his attention to detail and going the extra mile to make sure the cabinets and hardware looked perfect, like trimming and touching up around the cabinets. He enjoys what he does and is going to give the best “product” as he clearly takes pride in his work – Jim provided a level of service that you don’t come across very often these days.
