I hired Advanced Painting Systems several times when I worked as property manager for a local realtor in San Leandro. The quality of their work on those jobs made it easy for me to hire them when the time came for me to have my home painted in May of 2023. Gary and his employees exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with the finished product. I have and will continue to recommend Gary’s company. Gary did a flawless job patching up some large cutouts in my living room. I had large areas of drywall cut out to run in wall and ceiling wires for new home theater speakers. Gary patched them up and the walls look completely new! The repair work was so good I couldn’t even remember where the holes in the wall used to be. Gary is honest, punctual, and friendly. I’m planning to request his services again to paint our house and paint some cabinets.

Gary is very easy to do business with. He is not a salesman, just a good and honest contractor whom we hired to paint the exterior of our house. His quote for the paint job was more reasonable than others. The repair work, to replace and fix dry rot was billed separately and a detailed update of which was emailed daily. He tried to find ways to reduce the cost to me without compromising the quality of the work. The bill for the carpentry also ended up being more reasonable than other quotes I received. He was willing to put in a little extra work to satisfy some small requests to make the house look even nicer. He and his team were very professional and respectful of our property and privacy. At the end of the project, they cleaned up the area completely. I am happy with his work and glad that we found a local contractor to work with. I would recommend Advanced Painting Systems to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable contractor for home painting.

I have a difficult site on a hillside. Gary and his team did a great job working around the site challenges. The masked everything off and protected the masonry and other parts that did not need paint. Definitely recommend them for exterior painting.

Gary and his team painted the exterior of our house in November 2020. In addition to completing all of the structural repairs that we requested prior to painting, they carefully examined the house and fixed numerous flaws that we had not seen. The team worked diligently and were highly professional, completing the job in a little more than a week. We have received a number of complements on our house and are very pleased with the work.

We posted this review to Yelp on 5/24. We are now adding it to Google reviews. Gary and Enrique recently painted the exterior of our rental duplex in Hayward, including base stucco paint, two semi-gloss trim colors, and metal awnings. Gary was a pleasure to work with during the quoting and contract process, prep, painting, and final touch-ups. They were punctual at every turn, and worked consistently hard and well. The initial pressure washing threw a fair number of paint chips on the ground and into planted areas. That can’t be helped with any ease. The only small negative we had was that the little chips weren’t completely cleaned up. Not a big deal. When we had Gary out to quote another (much smaller) job a couple of weeks later, he actually went around with the blower and shop vac cleaning up paint chips that were still on the ground from the exterior job, without our requesting it. Most, if not all, of the chips were not even on the ground when he finished the job, but he cleaned them up anyway because he cares about his work and his public reviews.
