We have used Benson Painting numerous times over the past years and have had an excellent experience everytime! Ryan Benson (Owner) and Alex (coworker) recently painted our entire lower level which included ceilings, doors, trim and a large amount of picture moulding and it turned out amazing! Ryan was very easy to communicate with and gave excellent recommendations on paint colors/ finishes. 10/10, would recommend them to anyone!

Benson Painting was prepaid by the couple that we purchased our home from. Knowing that he had already been paid, he pushed the project to the very end of the season and took many shortcuts, including the paint and stain was found to be watered down after having it inspected by a third party which I paid out of my own pocket. They painted the screen porch in freezing weather in which it peeled after the first winter and he would not return to repaint the mess he created. He will not stand behind his work and doesn’t even have his own crew, he simply is a guy with a truck that does estimates and charges 30 to 35% above the market for terrible work. He is rude, unprofessional and will not follow-up or stand behind the shoddy work. The home and decking has to be completely repainted and refinished after only two years. I cannot believe that this guy still has a license to operate in the state of MN.

I have used Benson painting twice to paint the exterior of my home. Both times they exceeded my expectations. Attention to detail, regular communication, thorough and careful application. Gene sanded, painted and took great care to do the best job possible to improve a couple of worn decks. He also identified and replaced cedar siding where needed. Friendly, courteous skilled and reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend Benson painting.

Benson Painting Services did an outstanding job of painting the exterior of our home. Ryan was easy to talk to and work with during the initial consultation and quote. He really knows his stuff. Gene was running the crew working on our house and he was friendly, professional, and showed a lot of expertise and attention to detail. He made sure that we were satisfied with the final result. Our house has never looked so good.

A total transformation! What started as a typical bid for interior painting of our main floor, including our two-story great room, quickly escalated into a project that truly transformed our home! Ryan was referred to us by our neighbor, who hired Ryan’s crew to enamel all of their honey oak trim, doors and windows white, and we were beyond impressed. We didn’t think it would be our reality at this point but, out of curiosity, we had Ryan give us a bid to enamel our honey oak trim, doors and windows. We’d already started doing some upgrades in the house, and the enameling was something we always wanted to do. Realizing the impact the enameling and paint would have, and seeing the reasonable pricing Ryan provided, we agreed to this major project. We even extended the enameling to our second floor as our loft is open to the two-story great room. It was the BEST decision ever, and our house feels like an entirely new home!! From our first meeting, Ryan was down-to-earth, honest and friendly. Throughout the entire process, he was extremely responsive, listened to all of our questions and was patient as we went back-and-forth on the color/stain of our stairwell railing. He went out of his way to provide samples and make sure that we did it the right way. Ryan’s service went above and beyond our expectations. His crew was phenomenal too, and their work is absolutely beautiful!! Thank you, Ryan and crew, for making our dream vision a reality! It says a lot when not one, but two, contractors who were doing work in our house (one of whom had interactions with Ryan as it pertained to the trim) asked for Ryan’s contact information due to his high-quality work, knowledge and expertise. We are beyond satisfied with our end-result, and we highly recommend Benson Painting Services!

Ryan and his crew are awesome to work with! Professional, detail-oriented, honest, and trustworthy. Ryan is excellent at communicating and ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the end product. I have been using Benson Painting since 2012 and he just finished his 4th job for us! Ryan did a fantastic job staining my deck. He is a perfectionist and uses only the highest quality products. I really appreciated how quickly he responded to my emails. He always took time to answer my questions and was truly amazing to work with!
