We used Northern Door for the first time this year. We had a different company out 3 times in the past year, but still kept having troubles with our garage door. Lance from Northern Door came out, was very professional and courteous, and finally took care of our issues. He showed us many wires he replaced, they had all been spliced and taped together several times. He replaced many rusty rollers along with the opener inside the garage. He also lubricated our springs, rollers, and bearings and explained this should be routine maintenance twice a year. He was the first technician to ever tell us that. Everything he replaced had been bad for a very long time. We would highly recommend this company!

They came out within an hour and did a great job replacing the door spring quickly at a reasonable price. We bought this garage door almost 20 years ago from Northern, and they had the identical original spring part in stock for that door. Springs typically last 10 years, so doing almost 20 is a good run. Glad I called Northern for the replacement.

This company came recommended by neighbors. They came out the same day to replace broken springs on my double garage door. The tech worked quickly and answered my questions. In addition to installing the new springs, he raised the torsion bar center support (which was too low), oiled the rollers and bearings, and was finished in less than an hour. Pricing was the lowest I found calling around (~$360 for two springs in Jan ‘24 and unlike many others they didn’t hesitate to tell me what it would cost over the phone). He also told me—which I didn’t know—that the springs, rollers, and bearings should be lubricated twice a year (with 30wt motor oil). My garage door now moves much more smoothly and quietly than it did before. Highly recommended.

Great upfront pricing. Called ahead and showed up earlier than scheduled, which was much appreciated. Showed me exactly what happened to my garage door and used my existing cables when I’m sure they could’ve sold me new ones. Will recommend to friends and family.

This garage door company is amazing! They have the best Customer Service. Doesn’t matter if you’re coming in for a small job or a large job, they treat you with the utmost customer service. Very personable & professional. Noreen, the owner, is awesome, & really knows her business. She was fantastic to deal with. Put this company on the top of your list if you have ANY garage door issues!!
