Avoid if you can. They charge me 320 to repair a window glass I took to there shop after saying it would be 240. Deposit was 120 so the remainder was 120 I ended up paying 200 for a total of 320.

I requested cal glass come look at a garden window to either repair or replace. The estimator was prompt and gave us a few options. This is where the service start to fall off track. Once we called and accepted the repair estimate both verbally and via email they failed to call to schedule the repair. Days later I called and cleared up the confusion apparently the staff was unsure if we wanted a repair or a new window. Minor mess up no big deal sorted it out with 1 additional phone call and email. Job finally scheduled. Gentleman comes to do the work, replace trim and fix minor leak. The gentleman replaced only a small section, the undamaged portion or trim leaving the worst damaged areas untouched then said all done requesting approval and payment. I pointed out he had not completed the job. He agreed that he clearly missed some of the work and would reschedule. Couple days go by and no one has called or emailed to schedule the completion. I reach out to the office to find they haven’t scheduled it or are even aware of it issue. Few emails later they schedule the same guy to come back and finish. He shows up actually does the job however. He left the sharp aluminum clippings from the window trim all over the porch and driveway of this property. It wasn’t a small oops pile by the work area they were sprinkled from the door all the way onto the driveway causing a hazard for animals and tires of anyone that pulls into the driveway. I don’t know what else to say but that I am a fool for over paying for lack luster quality of workmanship and service. There are 3 other window and glass places in vallejo and I suspect using any of them would be an improvement.

We absolutely love our new 3/4 glass door that we ordered through California Glass of Vallejo. We asked for a cat door to be added and the gentleman who installed it cut the cat door opening at our home so that we could decide it’s location on the door. This company gave a a fair price and did an excellent job. Punctuality with the estimate and the install were less than perfect, but worth the wait. We’ll definitely recommend this company to others!
