Called Josh to come give me an estimate on a new overhead door. We set a day/time to meet and he no-call-no-showed for the appointment. I called him back to see if/when he was still coming, he never responded and I haven’t heard from him since. I’m a small business owner and usually try to give work to other small businesses. I ended up going to another local business and ordering two doors and installation through them.

Our garage door blew out a spring, but when we attempted to contact the “big name” service we had used over the past 15-20 years, we were told it would be over 3 weeks to get a person over for the repair. No bad on the “big name” – as it is the condition of the economy these days: a limited number of people willing to work, with lots of need for those persons’ services. However, we needed help faster than that, especially in winter. We located K-City Garage on a website. Out of Kellnersville, Josh was happy and able to get to us here in lower Brown County (Denmark). Josh was here within 24 hours. He was exceptionally pleasant to work with. He had us back in the game in under an hour, and with an upgraded quality spring. VERY reasonably priced. Once he was gone, there was no sign he had been here – shy of a working garage door! K-City has now become our new go-to for our Garage Door needs. We highly recommend you consider them for your next garage door install or repair job!

As a small business owner myself I thought I would do good simply handing the order to another small business but was only disappointed after 10 months. Ordered doors Feb 3 2022 and was told May delivery. May came and went but despite attempts at contacting I didn’t get an answer. Finally was told on Sept 27 that they had shipped and we would get an installation date soon. Fast forward two more months of being ghosted – now it’s December… I went to a new contractor because of no call back and then suddenly the “doors” appeared. When he showed up, the doors were an inferior brand and model of doors. I was told that he never ordered the doors we had picked out but “they are the same price you don’t need to worry.” Needless to say I was very upset that I had been lied to for months and still don’t have doors – no way I was settling for an inferior product. Complete bait and switch!

The owner called me back came over the next day and fixed my garage door in no time. The cost was very reasonable and he was great to talk to and very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for garage door repair or replacement.

Our old fiberglass garage door was 60 years old and coming apart. My wife called K-City out of Whitelaw. I believe the fellow’s name was Josh. He was very friendly and was happy to work around our schedule and needs. The day of the installment Josh worked quickly and efficiently and the job was over in an afternoon. We now have a well sealed brown steel garage door. . It looks good and it works much better than the antique that was replaced. We paid with cash. The job was $50 less than we had been expecting. The only glitch was that the t-handle and accompanying locking mechanism were back ordered; and weren’t installed on the day. Josh promised to be back as soon as he got the parts. Seeing that we had paid cash, there was a moment of doubt. But, as promised Josh came by, in a couple of days, and finished the job with a final installation of the missing parts. Bottom line….we were very pleased with he service and price. The installer was a super nice guy. Our garage now looks great. The chipmunks can’t chew through a metal door. We are happy campers. If you need a new door for your car house, it would behoove you to give Josh a call. He’ll do you right.

Great job, called on a Saturday he came within half hour and all fixed in about 15 minutes. No extra weekend charge. Nice job
