We purchased replacement window sashes for our home. We requested a quote from Window Concepts – called the local office in Suwanee and was referred to a sales rep, Wayne Reed. He was helpful, ordered our windows and offered to take care of the installation, which we agreed to so that we would have no warranty issues later on. The windows came in about 6 weeks later as expected. The salesman scheduled to come out and begin the install…then everything went downhill from here. Five out of 15 windows were damaged. The salesman and his helper didn’t bother to bring this to our attention. We didn’t discover the issue until we inspected closer after he had finished and been paid. This was our mistake. We called the owner, Rusty Housworth, to explain our issue/concern. He was very rude, promptly told me he was just a distributer, he didn’t have anything to do with installation, “who ever installed the windows should have inspected them first”. He directed us to the salesman, indicating we need to deal with him. When I let him know we used the salesman they recommended. His response was, “I didn’t recommend anyone.” I promptly let him know someone who answered the phone at Window Concepts recommended him and the invoice for the windows we paid for had Window Concepts at the top. This in COMPLETE CONTRAST to what they claim on the their website – ” Delivering products CORRECT, COMPLETE ON-TIME and DAMAGE FREE.” So…we went to the salesman/installer – sending a email with pictures and details of the issues. He pointed fingers at Jeld-Wen indicating it was a warranty issue. He was slow to respond to emails and phone calls so I contacted Jeld Wen and explained the issues we were having. The owner wanted to blame the salesman, the salesman wanted to blame the manufacturer. Jeld Wen customer service was the only one to stand behind their product. They ordered replacements defective/damaged windows. 6 months after our initial order, we finally had what we paid for, custom windows, not damage windows. I would not recommend Window Concepts to anyone. I certainly understanding having to pay for custom windows up front. But his leaves the buyers/homeowners at a substantial disadvantage when it comes to shoddy installation with suppliers that don’t stand behind their product. This experience was a nightmare. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

My wife and I just had a horrible experience with Windows Concepts. We had windows and a door installed by them, using Jeld-Wen as the manufacturer of the windows and door. The windows were installed, but there was a mistake on two of the bedroom widows. The windows had a black frame instead of white , which was ordered with all the other windows. The representative admitted it was his mistake. We did have them switched out. But, we had no idea what lay ahead. The kitchen door was to be replaced with a new door ($2300.00) with a fruitwood stain to match the existing kitchen windows. When the door was delivered and installed, we all, including the contractors, realized the color of the door did NOT match the stain of the windows and molding… not even close. I called Windows Concepts and they had to order the “new door” … another 4-6 weeks wait. After 5 weeks, the new door was delivered! It was the EXACT SAME STAIN as the previous mistake. I called Windows Concepts AGAIN! They could not understand what could have happened . The Windows Concepts rep came out with the Jeld-Wen manufacturer. They took photos of the door and said they would take care of it. They ordered ANOTHER DOOR ( the third) . After another five weeks, I received a call from the Jeld-Wen rep. saying the door was delivered … damaged. After another 5 weeks, the door was delivered , the fourth door. After installling it, the installers and I looked and agreed it was better, but STILL did not match. I WAS DONE!! After speaking with the Windows Concepts and Jeld-wen representatives they told me to call the “ big rep” from Jeld-wen. I DID!!! After explaining this horrific experience ,I, finally convinced them to refund money. I did not want to wait anymore and did not trust that I would EVER get what I ordered, I kept the door. There was a $1000.00 refund. I would NEVER do business with Windows Concepts ever again . And, forget about doing any business with Jeld-wen. What a disaster.

Great Windows!!! Had a promblem with your worker Justin attitude…Seems as though a few of our Construction sites dislike his Demeanor attitude. Not good for buisiness!
