Woodfield Garage and the technician Freddy are amazing. I’ve been working with other companies to fix my garage door. After months and too much money my garage door still wasn’t working. Within 30 minutes Freddy had my garage door repaired without trying to sell me anything I didn’t need. Other companies were trying to tell me I need a whole new door.

Not a LOCAL contractor located near Woodfield. I wanted to support a local business and spoke to Mike on phone and he confirmed their Schaumburg address. The service person pulled up in a plain van with no signage. The work seemed adequate and I wrote a check to Woodfield Garage doors. I was told to rewrite payable to Northshore Garage doors and the invoice had Wilmette address. The bill was $50 over the estimated range given for cable replacements. Disappointing ….

I was given an approximate quote over the phone. I was informed of the visit fee of $39. Freddie came for the visit and gave me a new quote 3 times over the quote given on the phone and more than $150 over a quote from another company I had used before. Seeing the reviews for this company, I thought of giving them a try. But I ended up paying $39 for just receiving a quote. They did try to upsell me a new garage door. Thankful that I didn’t fall for that trap. $39 for the lesson to avoid spending a couple of thousand on them for new garage doors (which I intend to do in the near future).

I ordered a garage door with Woodfield Garage Doors a couple months ago and looked forward to having it installed this summer. I followed up a couple times and was assured the door was ordered and that they would get back to me with an estimate for when it would be installed. After waiting a few weeks, I follow up again by email and phone. Now, the company is not returning calls or emails. I assume the door was never ordered, and unfortunately, I am stuck without a garage door this summer. Very disappointed with this lack of service.

I had my garage door come off the opener track early in the morning. I called for service right away, and Woodfield Garage Doors was out the same day for repair. Freddy was very knowledgeable about the issue I was having, provided me with a few options for a solution, and fixed my problem in no time at all! Freddy, and everyone at Woodfield Garage Doors, helped quickly turn around what could have been an otherwise very stressful situation with courtesy and professionalism. Joe the service tech came. He was polite and explained the whole process before he started. He also fixed a spring support angle iron bracket that had bent and shifted from a previous issue I had on the door. Happy with them and will continue to do business with woodfield garage doors.

I called and spoke with the owner Will. He was very professional to deal with and immediately sent out his best field technician Jose. Jose was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and proactive. These guys are top notch. I highly recommend them.
