I enjoyed working with Bruce as a salesman, and think he is a good person. My wife and I bought beautiful Andersen casement windows for our dream home. We spent over $180k on windows, which is insane, but we felt like we researched the product well and knew it was a long-term investment in quality. The issue we have is the install. They are not set properly in the frames, and the windows dont function (as in they dont open and close). More than 80% of the installed windows have issues that make them inoperable. I have reached out to Bruce, I have talked with service multiple times, they have come and worked on them. “They have all been adjusted”, and “Give them time to settle into the frames”. Well its been many months and our new windows are still inoperable. Ive given them 4-5 opportunities to resolve this issue while the home is under construction and next week we finally move in (18 mo. build). It is hard to describe how disappointing it is to feel like you spent a fortune on a colossal mistake that affects your family. Andersen corporate will only warranty manufacture defects, so I am left alone with brand new windows that dont work. Save yourself, find another dealer to install your quality windows.

Every time I have a window or door project I go to USI. I can’t thank the USI team enough – Rusty, Dave, Sydnie and the installers – Kyle and Cory. You guys do an outstanding job. I wish all of the companies I dealt with were as professional, courteous and high-quality as USI.

Update: was requested of me to reach out below in the response. I left two voicemails but nick never got back to me. The reply was just a publicity stunt I guess First salesman ghosted me after we had to keep pushing back order dates. And then when I was ready, he ghosted me. I tried to go with other places, but they were 4 weeks out. And the new sales rep I had talked with at USI told me 7-10 days for windows. Great, but then on day 8 I called him and asked him which day I could grab the windows, he said another 7-10 days. As if the production had never started. This delayed the project and ended up costing my company money. When we were billed, I attempted to see if we could work out a discount or anything like that. But the salesman never responded to me and he apparently told the lady who called for the billing that the project had been completed early. It was very frustrating getting ignored and then the claim that there was never a delay. I will be making sure USI windows and doors are never used on any future remodels or new construction that I manage or am involved in. And will be sharing the names of the salesman’s with other contractors and projects to not use them or the company. Nothing bad to say about the insulation branch of the company. They have always been reliable and great to work with. Especially RJ Mayo, he’s great.

I had fiberglass windows from Marvin installed in my home 3 patio doors and 15 windows . Came from single pane aluminum and wood frame . Sure made my house more comfortable year round . I know if I needed anything I could have the service dept come right out and take care of it .

In 2007, we had our home built by a large builder who installed All Purpose Windows. From the very beginning, we noticed that the windows were extremely stiff and difficult to open and close. Despite making multiple complaints(during the appropriate time frames), the representatives who have came out to inspect the windows dismissed our concerns and told us to give them time to “break in.” Over the years, we continued to experience issues with almost every window in our house, with many of them becoming so stiff that we can no longer open or close them. Several of them, the mechanisms are literally falling out and broken. We have made several FORMAL complaints to All Purpose Windows, but they have refused to take responsibility for the faulty windows and have not taken any action to address the safety issues and complete frustration that have arisen as a result. As a result of the faulty windows, we have experienced smashed fingers and hands. We now have had to prop some of the windows open in order to use them. Others, are in bedrooms and do not simply open or close, or you have be a weight lifter to use them at all. This has become a serious safety issue! In a fire, my kids would not be able to open a window and get out…they would have to call for Dad! We are extremely disappointed in the way that All Purpose Windows has handled the situation and are not giving us the lifetime warranty they promise. We strongly advise against using this company, as they do not stand behind their products and have not taken any action to address the issues that we have experienced. We hope that this review will serve as a warning to others who are considering using All Purpose Windows.

Horrible windows and worst service. After installing 56 windows when our house was built and replacing 5 a few years ago they now claim that they aren’t their windows and refused to honor their warranty. We wanted to replace a few that the seals are leaking and a broken one (which wouldn’t be under warranty) but they refuse to provide service. Avoid them for any window work!

We reached out to have a broken window replaced. The extended time it took to order the window was communicated. After waiting 3 weeks the technician showed up and told us that they ordered the wrong glass. We spoke to the person we placed the order through and she admitted that it was her mistake and that she now had the correct glass ordered. We waited another 2 weeks and the day of I received a message that we were going to have to reschedule another week out because the technician scheduled had a family emergency. I asked if there was another technician that could replace our window, that we had already been rescheduled because of USI’s mistake. And rather than giving a reply, Kourtney at USI just ghosted my text messages. This is extremally unprofessional. I have already paid for the window replacement in full, and USI will not even reply to a message or return a phone call. I highly recommend not using this company. Update – I was reached out to by Felipe (the service manager) about an hour after my last reply. He was very helpful and made a special trip out to my house to personally replace my broken window and adjust our slider door. I appreciate Felipe making the special trip. However I was still had to talk with supervisors and make reviews before anything happened. The process made me feel like I was acting like a “Karen”. I wish the initial order process was not flawed. I wish the appointments were handled better and didn’t require a supervisor to come out and fix what their staff couldn’t schedule properly.

One of our crews was in daybreak installing a heating/air system with Air Design , the streets are small and packed with construction trucks , anyway our truck was hit by one of All Purposes trucks , the driver came and found our crew working in the basement and said they accidently hit our truck, and gave them the number of John in the office to call. I called John the next Morning nervous of how he would respond , I was pleasantly surprised by how nice he was and expressed how sorry he was of the Accident and that they would pay for any damaged caused to our truck. I picked up our truck today from the repair shop and it was 600 more than the estimate we got in the beginning and he paid it no questions asked . I thought ,what a Honest ,Great Guy . I also thought he doesn’t know me from Adam , and i was treated great right from the start, and I can just Imagine how well he treats his Paying customers. I will recommend them to anyone looking for windows and doors. We need more Companies and employees like them.

Absolutely DO NOT use USI. They took 10 months to finish the install. They installed broken windows. The installer said that modifications had to be made to some of the windows since they were improperly manufactured. Subsequent technicians told us the windows were fine. They sent unqualified technicians to repair the windows. The resulting repairs look like someone had done the work with their feet. We were left to clean the silicone off the windows–which are three stories high. When we complained we were told that USI did not want to hear about it. This went on and on. In the end, we asked for some consideration for this extremely bad service. They sent us a full bill anyway.

Great place to work
