I came across Cambek Designer Doors about seven years ago when we were looking for new doors at my house in the Chicago metro area. It’s hard to sort the wheat from the chaff in the sea of garage door suppliers, but luckily my next-door neighbor had recently bought her new garage doors from Cambek. They were superb. I decided to contact the company and give it a try. We had a large house with five single door garages and that’s what I purchased. The doors are absolutely beautiful and they have lifted the “curb appeal” of my house tremendously. I’m so pleased with the installation and the beauty and functionality of the doors. At the time I owned a house in Florida that had some doors made by a company called Amer. The house had only been built in 2013, but within five years the garage doors had almost completely fallen apart. Pieces of wood had rotted and fallen off. So again I decide to contact Cambek to see what they might they might do for me. Again I bought new garage doors from the company, this time it was two double doors and the single door. They are absolutely beautiful and unquestionably the most beautiful doors anywhere in my neighborhood. I’m so pleased with their look and feel. They make me proud to own such a wonderful product. In a strange twist of irony, I still owned the house in Minnesota from my time working there. Unknown to me was the fact that the doors on my existing house were also from Cambek Designer Doors but I didn’t know. Those doors in Minnesota are now 24 years old and don’t show the slightest sign of age or blemish. They are absolutely fabulous. So now I am a committed Cambek Designer Doors fan. I’ll never go anywhere else. The design, the durability and the solidity of their doors is beyond anything I’ve ever seen anywhere else. What a fabulous company and a maker of architectural masterpieces. Congratulations to all the folks at Cambek Designer Doors. George Buckley

I would not suggest ordering from this company. The sales process is convoluted, the company is disorganized, and if anything goes wrong they will take NO RESPONSIBILITY. We were very clear about the product and color ordered, and were delivered $24K garage doors and front door in the completely wrong stain color. This is after them being almost 2 months late from the originally quoted lead time. First they refused to even acknowledge that anything was wrong. No form of compensation for the issue has been offered, other than refinishing the doors on-site, months later, even though that’s not a factory finished as ordered and paid for. I’ve spoke to various people at this company and they are completely without integrity or care for their customers. Just so you can see the complete ridiculousness of this company not taking responsibility, and bold face lying when they made a mistake, the lighter color is what we ordered, darker color is what was produced, against the actual door delivered. Samples in the same material (Western Red Cedar) as the door ordered. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. -Update, as response. Not once was it indicated that my selection during the sales, order, or production process was not available. And, even at that NO STAIN takes this differently across the same wood varietal, regardless of the “grade”. It is clear you used the wrong stain color (also both samples are in same grade, all provided to represent the material and stains of our selections). While we will have the doors refinished with something that won’t be as ordered or a factory level finish, (another inconvenience and headache) no compensation was offered after multiple requests for a small level of discount for the loss of time and issue it created on the project and will do so with the rework. Nor do you even want to take responsibility for the mistake, inconvenience, and problems this caused. It’s not the mistake it’s how it was handled, given the very clear communication on our side and error on yours.
