We had our windows and patio doors replaced this week by Diamond Head Windows. They did a fantastic job!! We liked the fact that they educated us on all our options and let us decide what work for us. (unlike the other company we had an estimate from which was very set on what we should buy) . We had an issue with on of the upstairs window screen and they came out 2 days later and replaced it. All in all it was a great experience and we would recommend them to anyone.

We had 12 windows replaced in our home. The service was professional and completed in one day. Clean up after the work was not very thorough, but they came back out and took care of it. One of the windows was configured incorrectly, but they were more than willing to correct that problem. The quality of the windows is excellent. I truly believe that our heating unit runs less. Our main issue is the opening of the windows. They are harder to open (slide) than we expected. The salesman’s sample was very easy to slide, but the actual installed windows were much more difficult. Hopefully in time, they will become a little easier to open.

Do not order your windows through them. I have had nothing but problems dealing with them. The install on my french door was not done properly and they do not call you back when they say they will. Biggest mistake I made was ordering 5 windows and a french door from them.

I can tell you that the owner is one of the best, most professional contractors I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He’s installed windows in both my house and my brother’s. Even when I had a minor issue with a sliding door handle, he sent his guys out to fix it without question. With a couple other bids in hand, we know he gave both of us a great deal on our remodeling project. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and with no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend them! I used to work in the window business for one of Diamond Head’s competitors back when I needed to earn some extra cash. I can tell you that I always hated it when I found out the homeowner was going to bet a bid from them too. I knew that’d probably be the last time I heard from them. That’s why I hired DHW when it was time for me to do my windows. Pretty smart, huh!
