Having broken the inside handle from my Anderson door, my first thought was to call a locksmith. A local locksmith was called. When I explained what had happened and the type of door, he suggested that I call Loranger Door & Window. A call was placed for assistance. I was quoted a service call price and advised that if I hadn’t gotten a call by Monday the next week to call back. I, over the next three weeks left messages on an answering machine that I was waiting for a call back (Maintenance person not available to take call). Tonight I decided to repair the door myself. I had found a “through the door” shaft I had ordered years ago directly from Anderson in a drawer. I pulled the exterior door handle out of the door. Moved that handle to the new shaft; inserted shaft with attached handle through the door and attached the inside handle onto new shaft. Thanks but no thanks Loranger. I saved myself a service call+.

Horrible experience. Overpriced doors and the service was abysmal. These guys let our door sit for weeks before we found out it was in and ready for installation. The sales guy was downright rude to us and ignored all our calls once he had received payment. The door is nice. Too bad it’s overpriced and took THREE MONTHS and many calls and stress to get them to finally install it. Wish I could give them negative stars. Avoid them at all costs, or like us, you’ll deeply regret doing business with these guys.

As a real estate professional, I am always looking for companies to recommend to clients after having a positive personal experience. Loranger has been great to work with and installed 3 new doors in my home. They have been nothing but professional, prompt, and focused on customer service. They’ve been back to remedy a few items after the initial install and we’ve been very happy with the level of service provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to clients and neighbors.

We purchased over twenty new Anderson windows for our home. The outside trim is constantly coming off, the windows require tools and lubricant each time you want to tilt them in to wash them. Wouldn’t get these again. And unfortunately the service from Loranger is less than responsive. There are better options for product and provider.

I would definitely recommend this company! They have two very kind and polite gentleman (Simon and Joshua) Who came to my apartment building and changed over 200 doors. They put up with a lot since some tenants can be more difficult than others and never complained. if you are in need of new windows or doors definitely get in touch with them!

Bob Loranger could not have been any more dedicated and committed to our project. He was on site with the builder and architect making excellent practical and cost savings recommendations. In the areas where custom windows were required he personally came out to insure the field measurements. Loranger did a great job navigating these difficult times delivering the windows and doors. I felt like Bob was a partner in my project.

I have the unfortunate displeasure of owning a home with Loranger windows. The windows were installed in 2002 and I am appalled at the lack of quality. All of them are drafty and of low quality, to the point where half of the windows do not even open more than a couple of inches. Avoid this company and its windows at all costs.
